haven t you figured it out after 5 yrs that it isn t binding? Every other arbitrated decision between the company and the pilots has been binding. There is, a difference.
No I haven't. And neither have you. The courts will eventually decide if it is or is not. THEN you can say it isn't binding IF you indeed side step the Nic.

YOUR NOT GETTING IT, average age 59, what do normal people do at 59? They say hey can't wait till I retire, PBGC, ETC, ETC, Hey moron , WE DID PULL THE TRIGGER, WE SAID, NO, NO, NOWAY! Your hub is a flub, in the next joint cba, PHX will close! Keep your attrition, it's called "seen IT all before" ! MM!

MM,

This gave me a chuckle, the East has 495 active over age 60 Captains. This number does not include LTD or the active and LTD First Officers.........Yeah, we "get it" on the East.......LMAO!!!!!

If I had to explain it, you still wouldn't understand. Just ignore it!

TRANSLATION: "I dunno, Cleary said it, so I thought I'd sound cool if I said it too."

You can't claim to be willing to fight to the bitter end AND have nothing to lose. The two statements are mutually exclusive.

I've got a few minutes, I'll wait until you look up that term. 😀

Read post above John

If a USAPA supporter is speaking to you, you can be assured they are lying (even if only to themselves).

Gee, it only took 10 posts to prove my point. Well done NLG

Just to be clear, is your post being signed as "John" or are you trying to claim that my name is actually "John"? In the first case I really don't care who you are, and in the second, you are mistaken.

Now, let's get back to the pack of lies you are trying to pawn off as fact.

It's neither genius. I've accepted that you do , but I will never understand it. I Kinda like I accept that many people smoke crack, but don't understand why they ever start. Get it?

You are free to do what you want, but it was a response to your comments to swan.
Ahh yes. The non-response-response. Wasn't it you who admonished someone for "coming to another person's defense?" Can't Swan come up with his own defense? Apparently not. (see my next post.)

Are you seriously telling someone, say a west pilot who paid 750 k for a house, paid it off at age 65 and then found the real value to be 400k that that would not be a hardship? Not underwater? Think about what you said, paying interest all those yrs. and then the value is less than half?

No. I'm telling you that it has nothing to do with whether they can retire or not. I'm telling you that it is not "underwater" if it's paid off. Of course it sucks to own something at twice the price it's worth. But it has no bearing on putting the person in the poor house unless they are counting on that equity, like a reverse mortgage. It also has no bearing until a person sells. Until then it means nothing to a person's day to day financing. Anyone who is using their home value to finance their retirement (outside of a catastrophic illness or some other event), or plans to, got some seriously bad financial advice.

You are the one who said this:

How do you begin to retire, if your home payment is possibly 300k underwater, or more? You can't sell and close out the mortgage.

Did daddy buy you your house and beemer that you are that dense about it? You obviously have no knowledge of finances if you are that cavalier.

Nope. Once again you can not debate facts or respond to my questions with anything coherent, so you resort to attacks and insist on making it personal. Fine with me. I never got anything handed to me except a college education with no student loans to pay off, and free room and board during my flight instructing days. That's it. Everything else was self made. I drove my 2 previous cars for 9 and 12 years respectively and saved every penny while living well below my means. Now I buy all my cars in cash, wise guy. It's called delayed gratification. Funny how quick you are to use the silver spoon name when you know so little. Nothing cavalier about it. Not when your wife is an accountant/auditor for the SEC. Nothing like good financial advice as opposed to the kind many pilots follow.

I read it slowly, home equity means everything, especially when this piece of crap airline stops floating

If home equity means everything to you, you really should seek professional financial advice. Regardless, your assumptions are off as I've proven in my previous posts, and you have failed to rebut. You didn't start this conversation talking about your airline failing or having to sell your home. Your attempted jab specifically referred to retirement. It is on that where my comments are dead on accurate. I even said that equity means nothing UNLESS YOU HAVE TO SELL. Typical easty... you get caught making a false grand statement, and when called to explain you change the subject and start calling names. Thanks for proving me right.

Now, let's get back to the pack of lies you are trying to pawn off as fact.

No, I'm afraid it is fact. I guess you are not a MIGS......"two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun".................

Ahh yes. The non-response-response. Wasn't it you who admonished someone for "coming to another person's defense?" Can't Swan come up with his own defense? Apparently not. (see my next post.)

How is that a non-response? I don't care what you do in your spare time, I just don't get it. Do you see a lot of other airline pilots on here? I also wasn't defending him, I just found you questioning someones fascination with anything ironic.

Abandon a lost cause? The only "lost cause" is the assumption that any money doug puts on the table would be better for the EAST than 93, your "ASSUMPTIONS" that we will have some type of miracle offer(look at the F/A's) is well moronic at best! When the EAST uses their attrition and upgrades it is far better off than sitting F/O for a WEST pilot hired 15years after them, FACTS are FACTS, KASHER or not, won't happen!
But wait. Are you not a captain? So the only raise that you are going to get is if you can go to the WB. Since only 10% of your list can hold that position. There is no benefit for 90% of the captains on the east seperate ops and los 93. Unless getting weekends off after 30 years is something special all you guys are doing is giving away money. Thanks for admitting that this entire usapa experiment is about the east fo's upgrading. I am sure once the captains figure that out they are not going to be real happy with your AFO's.

But if you only had your facts right. Your average age is not 59. I have told you that many times but you just will not learn. Moron!

You and a lot of your buddies have consistently lumped all east pilots into the same category. Did I ever say I didn't think I had anything to lose? No, because I'm a little younger than the average and feel I do have something to lose.

But....the two terms aren't really mutually exclusive. If a group feels that the alternative to it's current path is too onerous, then they may feel they have nothing to lose by fighting to the bitter end. Right? Have you ever heard the term "ride this pony until it drops"?
