US Pilots Labor Discussion

You complain or try to explain why the east did what you did.

****I was not complaining, just trying to shed some light.

That you had warring factions and poor leadership under AA ALPA not national.

******I did not exclude ALPA National....they wanted us out of business....they were as much of a problem as anything and certainly were not helping anyone at AA.

So in order to correct your problems you vote out ALPA and replaced them with usapa and elect Mike Cleary and the other hard core nut jobs even less skilled and more fractioned than ALPA. This makes sense to you and the east pilots?

Do you now think that you have cooler heads with usapa? Do you think that we are better off now or is it getting uglier with Cleary and gang in charge? Do you think that most of this noise coming from usapa now is to make the pilots think that usapa is doing something or do you think they are actually doing something?

I did not vote for Cleary and as I said before, time will tell. USAPA has much growing to do, but it has to be better than ALPA, controlled by Delta and United.

Why not try just straight talk instead of spinning what someone says? I guess straight talk just isn't aggressive enough, eh?

I did not vote for Cleary

The west guys didn't either because they were too busy following Suzi and couldn't vote. But hey, that doesn't stop them from whining, even though they really want him in there. Integrity.

He can't talk straight, he's an idiot.

Crush the West... oh, the drama. Its like arterial bleeding out of both sides of your neck. The locust have swarmed your fields, the whirlwind has flattened your houses, and your women, children and horses have been carried away captive by swift marauders.

And you are the only one left to tell of the plunder upon your people. Alas.. Alas..
Only a scab union uses union resources to maliciously sue its own pilots.

Friday is going to end it all. This is going to be fun to watch.

Lay it out for us. Tell us how things will go. Put your money where your mouth is.
Company gets exactly what it asks for.

If USAPA liked Judge Bybee, they're going to love Judge Conrad. USAPA could not be facing a worse judge for them. Or on the flipside, the company could not have drawn a better judge for their case.

Oh, I'm kind of expecting the company to get the injunction. I mean after that, you know the fall of USAPA and all that. I want to hear your predictions with a timeline. Please.

TRO won't take long . . . maybe a day or two (Monday or Tuesday of the following week). After that, who knows. My bet is that Cleary has his malcontents so wound up - the ones who are mostly responsible for the statistical spikes - that they won't stop. If that happens and they don't stop, then I'd give it two weeks before we're back in court for contempt.

Sounds good to me.

If we do, it will be because of morons like the one that had the "+16" stickers made up and the one sending text messages. For all of our technical know how, we are some of the stupidest people on Earth. It wasn't enough that we restrict ourseves to doing our jobs by the FOM, a few dumba$$es took it to a level that was verifiable and illegal. Now, every East pilot that writes up a discrepancy in the logbook puts a target on his/her back.

Satisfied???

After all he did for you, Judge Wake is offended that you have forgotten him so quickly.

If they were routing for USAPA when they did those things then yes they were stupid. If they were routing for anyone else....
