You think that explains and justifies everything. He was hired and furloughed so is all that matters. The 3.5 years that he did not fly for US Airways just ignore that? The fact that he was furloughed, ignore that?

You are right about one thing. Pointing out facts to you bone heads will not change anything. Arbitration is done and it will be used. You can ride that sled of DOH to the bottom of the scrape heap for as long as you want. The west is good with separate ops and the contract we have. Can you say the same thing?

Only accept DOH and retire on LOA 93, enjoy. I was only correcting the record that mrbreeze acknowledged I was right. And pointing out the hypocrisy of the east pilots trying to steal seniority and the difference between the damage to an east and west pilot using DOH v. Nicolau.

Accept what you want but know that someday you will live with the Nicolau award. You can accept it or leave to find another job. But hey keep wearing the yellow lanyard big boy. I dare you.


The FA crew news is very telling in how much EAST flying the west is doing.. Sounds like they are doing 17 hour 4 days because they don't even have enough of their own flying to make a real 4 day.. So now they come and steal our EAST flying.. talk about hypocritcs. They complain that we want there flying. We have said over and over we want nothing from the west. If you want ot resolve this then sign an agreemnet that says we use the NIC but you wont come and take any of our CAPT jobs out east. That would be putting your money where your mouth is.

Actually, you sir, seem awfully desperate to "minimize" DOH. Why the vitriol? Do you accurately (finally) sense that your "award" is circling the drain?

As explained by others, the Empire dudes were given many chances to right that "wrong". I believe they were originally given DOH for everything but a/c bidding outside the aircraft they brought to the property, the F-28. In return they were brought onto PAI retirement, which at the time was quite a beneficial plan.

As an aside, when the moronic ALPA MEC, "led" by PHL's newest chief pilot coffee fetcher and all around BJ, gave away the US retirement, the Empire dudes should have been restored their DOH for everything, restoring their quid pro quo, but the criminal cretins running ALPA were only thinking of themselves. I do not expect someone of such limited IQ to understand but maybe those who still speak to you can explain.

As posted by Res, acceptance is now "democratic", by a vote of a majority, courtesy USAPA. That, by itself, in a rational world, should eliminate any DFR lawsuits, but the atmosphere in PHX is hardly sane. Before, under ALPA, either party could nix any merged contract, and USAPA should be a significant improvement for the future chances of the westies to actually operate something bigger than a single aisle aircraft. Not that I agree with that situation, but, it is what it is.

Another of the "unsung" benefits the east pilots have "given" to the west.

24% of east flying were "given" to the west, saving team tempe from having to "create" pilot jobs in the west. Assuming total east flying was (at least) twice that of the west, that represents almost a 50% gain for the west and "saved" one third west pilot jobs from furlough, assuming the west was just as efficient as the east.

In return (can one say scam?) 4% or west flying went to the east, resulting in a "give back" to the east of some 2% flying. Big whoop!

I, riding west jump seats, believe the DOH/conditions and restrictions meme is taking hold in the west.

Our common enemy are the cretinous (drunk?) morons in tempe who seem quite adept at failing wet dreams.

Hey, did you hear AA purchased 1000 new aircraft at the Paris Air Show? I heard Mr. Parker, in his normal drunken stupor and in response, ordered 37,000 new lanyards. So there!

And you guys wanted to steal our upgrades. Didn't even bother to hide that fact during negs.

sorry I don't want your upgreade just want our guys to have their rightful line without waiting any longer than they would have.. That woudl be a windfall to the west when many on the east as you continue to pontificate have waited longer than they should have anyway.. That is part of the problem..

same could be said about you ... when the award was labeled "problematic" my Prater.. He just didn't have the b**** to fix it...

so I don't see the NIC anywhere in place...

and in short order the east will be growing quickly...

Do the math! The east is 2/3 of the F/O's the west is 1/3. Read the Nicolau award. He slotted the east and west in 2/3, 1/3. So the east is getting the upgrades that you are entitled to and the west is getting the upgrades that we are entitled to.

If you want to talk about a windfall take a look at DOH. As I pointed out. Little Greggy Harrington wants to go from being 1000 furloughed to being within 100 of our west captain.

BTW I thought all of you guys on here were captains. Why is the discussion always about upgrade and you not getting them? Could it be that you guys have misrepresented yourselves and you are really the AFO club. No an east pilots fibbing could never happen.

Heard a saying that the east MEC used during the integration. "If you ain't cheatin' and lying, you ain't tryin'" Pretty much sums up the east pilot attitude.

Its simple....he was hired first, thus he is senior....its that simple so you can rant ,rave, scream , cry, complain on this forum, whatever but its not going to change. WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT DOH.

I disagree. If Clear is correct in his assessment ( I neither have the desire nor inclination to confirm it and am taking it at face value), then you do not give credit of time in service nor " he was hired first" BS if he was, in fact, furloughed. End of statement. He was NOT producing income for the company, he was NOT on the property. How much clearer (no pun intended) do I have to be.

Having said that......I shouldn't have lost 800 numbers to a Westie who was hired 2 days before me.
