US Pilots Labor Discussion

For those of you who donated to Rebecca's ADA fundraiser, she came in 2nd in the state of Colorado in funds raised by an individual.

I appreciate that not only did you make her feel special, (and I am sure she will never forget this), but it instills hope...not only in her but all diabetics.

There were 1800 riders in the Tour de Cure this morning, riding a 32 mile bike course. This isa a state event and raised about $800,000 for research. Needless to say, my butt is draggin tonight.

Here is my amateurish video from the VIP dinner last night. You had to raise at least $1000 in donations to get invited. There were about 400 in attendance......Rebecca had raised $9510 by the dinner time last night, and it has gone up another $700 today.

Again, thanks very much,
breeze

Captains eviction makes the street, 20/20 and another news investigation team might be on this company's lack of safety issue. http://www.thestreet.com/story/11225781/1/us-airways-captain-describes-airport-eviction.html?cm_ven=emailfriend

Franke Air will be extremely sorry they went here. I would suggest contacting Cristianne Amonpoure. This will blow up in their faces. Valerie Wells. Wins Franke Air Lottery. $$$$$ Doug Parker and Gerrold Glass will have spotlight turned on their toxic management style. Doug won't like what comes back to haunt him. Lyle Hogg will wish he never went here with Valerie. They like bullying employees.

Why was this FEMALE capt escorted by security? Isn't this harassment by toxic management at it s finest? This will be fun. The Charlotte judge knows this issue has legs. Let is see him try and tell pilots not to write up airplanes that are broken. Let us see him give taxi guidelines to eastern pilots. Monday will be a good day for USAPA. Let 's see him bash some more honest Americans while Parker shoves millions in his pockets. The American people are sick of this behavior by corporations and they are watching this case. Let's hope CNN is there Mon.

take a good look at this! This is something going national now.!!! What airline does this to a 30 year Captain? Unbelievable.......

question.........was DOH with the CA retirement vacancies from both sides "fenced" for the respective native pilots, so upward movement from attrition remains the same as before this mess came along ever considered??

No.

IMO If attrition fences been in place with the award , we would be working on our second contract.

Ahhh yes, USAPA's shill. Writes whatever Cleary tells him to. And your 30 yr Capt was unprofessional in both conduct and systems knowledge. She didn't know her airplane. Did know her limitations. Shame on her.

Thanks guys....I will pass it along to her.

Also, I explained to her about the problems going on between the pilot groups and she was impressed with the West pilot's donations. B)

Cactusboy, good seeing you the other day. Thanks for your concern. It appears my daughter will be ok. Taking the next four weeks off. See you then.

The thought of losing a child puts things in perspective. I can't see myself wasting another minute on this board.

Regards.
I wish the best for you and your family.

Regards,

Bob

Better make darn sure you are correct in your allegations Jerry. Seems to me it was a three person crew, and they all agreed. Of course, you are the final authority. After that disciplinary hearing they put out there with the allegations against Valerie, somebody better have made sure they were absolutely correct about what they accused her of, the same stuff you throw out there. Either way, this all about judgement, and it is going to be mighty interesting when this story grows, which it is. Since when does an airline call security on a captain? What happened to the captains' judgement being respected, not questioned. Even if a captain makes a decision with regard to maintenance which turns out to be the wrong one, and I am not making any reference to this issue, the call should still be respected if it is an error on the side of safety. This public pilloring of a 30 yr. pilot is unacceptable. The company made a massive error going to the disciplinary route on this, something that is an unbelievable affront to any pilot on the property, east or west. To have your judgement questioned by a senior officer of the company in a computer message to the entire work population is harassment in my view. Even if it is a mistake, no employee should be subjected to this. It should not be tolerated.
There is an extremely bad atmosphere developing here, and there is a clear case to be made the company is taunting the East pilots with the appointment of former ALPA pilots to management in a clear campaign of stirring the pot. The judge needs to know Glass was brought back to sour relations, and the fact other "specialists" have been hired to create an atmosphere that is not healthy. I have a strong suspicion this is going to go news "viral" and the company better be careful of what they push into the flight deck. If I were running USAPA, I would make absolutely certain the NATIONAL media is aware of what Valerie Wells has been subjected to. Right or wrong call, it is totally unacceptable to do what they did.

Tell us about your A330 type ride and oral systems exam?

In fact, see if you can get Lyle Hogg to tell us about his A330 experience. He's the one putting out the ludicrous information about Capt. Wells' situation.

Does the fact that five other pilots, all with real A330 type ratings and beaucoup experience, agreed with Capt. Wells' evaluation of the situation? Of course not. You need to depend on your total ignorance of the A330, as well as Lyle Hogg's, to make up your accusations out of thin air.

Did I mention that the second captain to refuse that aircraft that night is a former ALPA MEC chair, and is anti-USAPA? Figure that one out you moron.
