For those of you who donated to Rebecca's ADA fundraiser, she came in 2nd in the state of Colorado in funds raised by an individual.
I appreciate that not only did you make her feel special, (and I am sure she will never forget this), but it instills hope...not only in her but all diabetics.
There were 1800 riders in the Tour de Cure this morning, riding a 32 mile bike course. This isa a state event and raised about $800,000 for research. Needless to say, my butt is draggin tonight.
Here is my amateurish video from the VIP dinner last night. You had to raise at least $1000 in donations to get invited. There were about 400 in attendance......Rebecca had raised $9510 by the dinner time last night, and it has gone up another $700 today.
