US Pilots Labor Discussion

Exactly right.......but keep in mind that he is just an azzhole with a big mouth, just yanking our chains for no reason. Another DH. From what I have learned over the last few months on this board.....even though the West pilots have a bone to pick with us and USAPA, there is still respect from most of them in the area of the Captain's authority. This guy is walking all over hallowed ground and it causes me to think he in not a pilot at all.

Hallowed ground because you're a Captain? Man you're living in the past. And of you can't figure out I'm s west pilot by now then you have no business flying aircraft.

You make me laugh.

Yes. Virgin America does have a lower rate than West (but not East), and possibly Frontier as well since they agreed to concessions recently to help the spin-off (but I haven't seen the specifics of the concessions.

Jim
Just had allegedly numero single digit hire at Virgin America, on the js, and his quote of top rate was less (by cents) than the east. Not to split hairs on shoveling offal.

I mean, it seems queer to hear the west chortling about like they are "not the bottom". Weird, the cluelessness.

That's not something you want to brag about. I honestly didn't even look at those.

Well that was kind of my point. Here you have this USAPA thing that is supposed to represent all pilots at US Airways. Now one of the primary reasons to join a union is to gain higher wages, better benefit and working conditions for ALL members. Now some please enlighten this dumb customer as to exactly when USAPA fought for better wages for all?

Why? For instance, my friends in the west say the very same things about how PHX will never close, just like many used to say about PIT.

Change is the only constant. Make it your life.

Like I said.....(not a Cpt...senior FO......learn to type, dumbazz)

They're to fixated on DOH to care. And all the east guys here say they're OK with LOA93.
Just like the vocal westies are fixated on the nicholau lottery ticket. Until that gets tested and resolved, no movement on anything else. Mr. Parker is counting on it.

It is sad that pilots are outwitted by a drunken fool, both groups.

Pretty sure Frontier and Allegiant pay less.
Allegiant rates are $131 for a first year captain (first year with the carrier) and $151 TOS (Pilot Pay Central). Heck, Horizon pays their CRJ700 Captains $121/hr TOS.

Could be. According to Pilot Central year 6 Captain rate is very close (probably within cents since P.C. gives even dollars) and 5 year is $1+/- less. Their TOS is $133/hr. How many East 320/737 Captains are on the 6 year rate?
