Yo, St.NIC! You are correct. I was a doubter also. Donny B gave a masterful presentation to Kasher. He had a great presentation on the FREEZE terminology. Let's hope Kasher grasped the concept of FREEZE and how is has been past practiced.
Brookman seems to think otherwise:

Deficient Areas of LOA 93 Transformation Plan
1. Duration the amendable date of LOA 93 is December 31,2009. There are no snap backs or provisions for the pilot group to recoup any contractual provisions, benefits or pay during for the next 5 years, and realistically under the provisions of the Railway Labor Act, it may take up to 2 additional years to negotiate any changes to the collective bargaining agreement.

And this was info based on what Don B gave him!!!!

A masterful presentation?!?!? On concessions? How is a presentation on how much pay your going to give up in any way masterful?

He was referring to the presentation to Kasher... Please try to keep up!

I love watching how people vote on a reply, someone on the East will say the sky is blue today and then negative votes pour in 😉

God damn you guys like to rewrite the past!

Your 1998 Parity +1 contract was a PAY CUT for your guys. You have DAL and UAL to thank for yanking you out of the cellar and not yourselves. SW made a gamble and those two aforementioned airlines handed it to him by upping the parity..

Even a blind mouse will eventually find cheese. You guys tripped over it.
I'm not against accepting a gift.....if you would like to donate? I guess we got lucky. Heck every couple of months I even make a good landing. I thank DAL and UAL for helping us out. That being said every other labor group at this airline thought that parity plus 1 made us the highest paid pilots in the industry and they were pissed at us.

Noyellowneck,
Brookman was smart enough to try and warn his guys not to vote for LOA 93.This was his take on it to scare his guys off, Take it for what you want. He voted against it, and it is his opinion only.

It's going to be a very interesting read either way, but I am not the least bit concerned by what he writes. I'll still slow taxi the 330 (always have) and if something is broken I'll write it up. I'm sorry if that is not conveinient for the company and the West pilots.

Having been a non-schedule freight dog in my former life flying B747's worldwide...You learn not to trust anyone and basically everyone is out to kill you...🙂 Especially the for profit company at any cost you work for. This can make you a bit edgy when every leg is in a different country/language/hemisphere. Don't get me wrong and I had a lot of good times too, but Central Africa was not one of them.

All what you state is appreciated, but I believe the company has the upper hand on usapa at this moment.

Otter

What does this line of B/S have to do with what 320 stated? Keep your little past just where it is, in the past dont bore us with it.

What really cracks me up is How DUI Doug say's how easy he breathes now with our cash position, this company is so in debt it is actually worse than the US GOVT, heck GREECE is in a better financial status than this place and "TEAM TEMPE" flaunt's their success! And you actually think DUI DOUG will put enough money on the table for a joint CBA! DREAM ON! My advice start job hunting especially if your a WESTIE! It will be an ASSET SALE REAL SOON!

Excuse me.

The day before that 1998 parity+1 contract was signed, the US Airways pilots were FAR from the cellar pay wise.

But, you know who WAS the definitive cellar that day? YOU!
