US Pilots Labor Discussion

The age slurs got we wondering - if the West is too young and BB is too old what is the correct age needed to hold all the wisdom?

The comment to Jim was a childish jab. I have come to despise the man. Not for what he believes, I actually agree with him on somethings, but because of his actions on here(through his words) towards the people he used to work with.

Where have I ever said the west was too young?

Without a joint contract the company cannot adjust the fleet count to meet demand, so additional airplanes are carried that might otherwise be shed. This takes a temporary hiccup in the economy and turns it into terminal pneumonia.

Stranded passengers cost money to reaccomodate when the crews decide to incorrectly write up an aircraft.

Bookings decline when a reputation of pilots undermining the reliability of the schedule is built.

Need I go on? Teamwork makes the airline work in good times and bad. Temper tantrums thrown ostensibly to gain attention and leverage never work.

Please save me the doe-eyed halo-wearing, "I don't know what you're talking about"

B.S. FLAG! B.S. FLAG! This food fight is saving him WAY more than it is costing him-short term. Did you watch the last CLT crews news session where the big guy had the long diatribe to Doug about our current situation? Do you know who he is? Do you know what document his name is attached to? Did you catch the number he put on the company's savings? If not, go watch it, get a clue and get back to me.

Now as far as teamwork and slowdown and the rest of your B.S., that blame sits square on Dougie and team's shoulders. It was their decision to continue to treat us like step children and not pay us the same. It was their decision to run the most idiotic "fuel school", and it was their decision to not take a stand on the seniority food fight and instead reap the temporary cost saving. This management team does not care about happy employees or customers. The think if you aren't happy, hit the road, they can find many more to replace you. If the customer is not happy, go fly SW, there are plenty more on the internet waiting to take your cheap seat.

LAS is where it is today because it's economy is no longer booming and with fuel at the price it is we can't make money there anymore.

Your blame is misplaced on this, but what's new? I haven't seen you make a sensible post yet.

Bookings decline? I guess you missed the record August load factor and RASM up about 9%, huh?

Does that birdie live in the bird nest you call your brain? "We have financing commitments for all Airbus aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2011 and 2012." Source: 2nd quarter 2011 SEC filing.

Jim

yeah but the 737's are not gone until 2014... so what about financing for 13 and 14? oops.

You know what luvn? Your deep concern for the company and it's inability to properly adjust it's fleet for market conditions got me thinking. Why don't you do this? The T/A can be adjusted by agreement between the company and USAPA, right? Go to your reps and tell them your concerns and that you wish to pass a resolution that USAPA amend the T/A, and let the WEST min. fleet go away. That's only fair, since that is where the shrinkage is occurring, and us easties couldn't care less right? Then the company can furlough out west and not have you guys artificially flying flights the would be better crewed in the east. Sound good?

You despise someone based on their postings on an internet chatboard?

You are one messed up individual. I'm done responding to you and feeding your need for attention.

Oh, that hurts. Yes, THAT'S why your not responding, not the fact that I handed you your xxx! Ha! See ya.

NosumClaap said the -300's which should be gone by the end of next year. In other words, the 320 series that are coming this year and next will replace them and they have financing. As usual, as was the case with his other names, Claxon was pulling stuff out of his rear end. I guess it must have been stuck since he needed your help. Hope you washed your hands when you were done.

america west pilot recent video.

Auxier and Anger, former america west pilots depicted in this video have a sordid past. Auxier was a named defendant in a Federal Rico trial. Anger was a scab pilot in Australia, when america west airline pilots crossed a picket line.
