If the message is "I'm a frigging nut job" got it loud and clear. Let me provide you with some much needed clarity. The "western" pilots are guilty of nothing but dealing with you and the company in good faith. Your airline is dead...there is a new airline. The nic. Award will eventually be used as the courts have given no indication that a DOH cram down by the majority, to the sole detriment of the west is legal. Your fake union is run by a laughably incompetent contingent of fools, liars, and narcissists. Your side can choke on your food stamps and government cheese for all this "western" pilot cares. One way or another, you sob's will be forced into compliance. Fight all you want, you have passed the event horizon and will be crushed one way or another. Until then, you get to wake up every day in your miserable, broken headed bodies. You attack the messenger, not the message cliche is in order here.

If you weren't such pos's, I'd feel bad for you. But alas, I don't. Not even in the smallest measure imagined.
My assessment of your present situation. Systolic 218 and Diastolic 142.

Well Said Bob!
The recent CLT election shows how much a few votes matter. There was a chance for change(still is with one guy), but the ones sitting it out and the apathetic let the one's happy with our current course rule the day. So be it, but if you weren't there to vote against Cleary during the presidential election, or any of your reps, you really don't have any reason to bxxxx.
I agree with you and I know you will not be surprised but he who's name shall not be mentioned has yet to answer whether or not he is a migs. I guess he is too busy sending for his brain to process input.
Regards,
Bob
The last true and accurate measure of pilot sentiment on this property was the representational election in 2008. That was when the highest percentage of all pilots, east and west, voted to either remain or depart from ALPA. It was also a referendum on the Nic. Instead of a ratification vote as part of a contract, it was a representational vote in which the majority rejected the award.
The officer elections of a few years ago took place with PHX and ALPA supporters abstaining. It was a MIGS only event. Even then Cleary was elected only after a second ballot.
I think its time to get a true and accurate measure of the entire pilot group once again. Much has transpired, much has been sacrificed and the road ahead, if we stay the course, appears longer than the road already travelled. How do we feel today, 3.5 years after the election, 6.5 years after the merger and almost 8 years under LOA93 and however many years under C84?
I would urge our leadership to conduct a survey, a scientific one utilizing an outside agency, similar to the Von Thaden safety survey, which would gage pilot sentiment on a number of issues. The Wilson Center comes to mind but there are others who could craft and administer such a survey.
I would further open such a survey to both MIGS and non-MIGS, although the number of non-MIGS is statistically small today. Non of us were MIGS on the eve of the representational election back in 2008.
Such a survey would include but not limited to the following questions:
For the east
Are you satisfied with USAPA's current strategy? Should we stay the course regardless of time and money? Are you willing to move off DOH? If so, would you support a consitutional amendment? Are you willing to accept the Nic? Are you prepared to drop the RICO lawsuit? Would you pursue or support a DFR against USAPA if something other than DOH with current C&R's were implemented?
For the west
Would you be willing to move off the Nic? Would you pursue or support a DFR against USAPA if the majority of west pilots were willing to move off the Nic? If you are certain the Nic will eventually prevail in court, are you satisfied with staying the course or exploring an alternative solution sooner?
Plenty more questions could be asked. I think we should know what all the pilots are thinking today. The last CLT election indicated very low participation. There is a growing silent majority out there that needs to be heard.
