LAS is gone, PHX is competing with Southwest Airlines.

Now if you sold your PHX slots, how much could one get for th.......,,,??????????

You brought nothing, you saved nobody. The major mistake you made is you told everyone at the family table about it, but you did not mention it was a lottery ticket.

A bird in the hand is wor.............,,,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!!!

What's wrong with you guys? Any minute now DreaminofCLT is going to show us the evidence of AWA's powerhouse US airline position. If not, BillyJoJimbob will jump in to tell us how lousy HIS airline and pilots were. Geez...........

You St Nic. A friend at the CLT trng center today heard from the top that 25 a month are going to be hired on the EAST side, starting Jan. I just don't get why the younger west guys are giving up all that attrition coming. When the new hires get in, they will NEVER vote on a combined CBA that cascades the west on them, that is the real danger coming now.
Engage brain before posting. Here we have another "I heard" statement taken as fact. 25 per month is 300 per year. The east does not have 300 per year retirements, EVER. The only way you get to 300 per year is if you include the west retirements. So that would not be EAST only. That would be also WEST new hires.

Year Retire West East Active really retiring
2012 12 3 9
2013 195 45 150 112
2014 260 46 214 160
2015 235 51 184 138
2016 274 44 230 172
2017 303 64 239 180
2018 311 52 259 195
2019 337 78 259 195

But we do not get to 300 TOTAL until 2017. Do you think something might change in the next 6 years?

BTW how many of those retiring on the east not active? Answer only 75% so no need to hire and train for those guys. 383 EAST pilots leaving the list that have no value at all in the next 8 years.

Genius, have you ever heard of training float, and older guys with full sick banks? Try and put a number on that one!

How are the donations going for the army of lyingitas (now eric ferguson defense fund) going? How much do you owe on your legal bill?

Johnny Mac is an f/0, so is mitch vasoline and angry too.

What happened to Dreaminofclt? He was the best entertainment we've had around here for a while. I didn't drop a turd in the "AWA was the greatest, kicking SWA's butt, we saved your butts" punch bowl, did I?

If you east pilots and Seham are so smart. Why did Seham throw the kitchen sink at the ninth? Why not go in there say it is not ripe and sit down. If it was such a slam dunk and everyone know it.

Why is it that not one of you outhouse lawyers who says it is so obvious now never even heard of or spoke the words not ripe before the ninth ruled?

So let me get this straight. You are a critic of the winning lawyer's arguments at the Ninth?

I actually have never heard Seham more in his element that before the Ninth. No uncomfortable pauses there.

Heard the ripeness argument on day one, and later posted about it here in one of my first messages 2 years ago.

The Ninth was much more than just "ripeness." Much more. Seham knew it, and exploited it. The resulting work product by 3rd year law school clerks (smarter than Wake) at the Ninth speaks volumes. You are so excited about your DFR case(s) you still won't admit you did not need to spend 2M just to get there.

Good luck on DFR II. Marty and his gang won't tell you why your odds are so long until you sink enough moneys in them to make them whole with interest. Where have we seen that before?

RR

Hey oh wise one Seham knew because it was not part of the CBA...and that is what the 9th said....
and since you are so adept at interpreting what the 9th meant where do your westies get off saying
that the 9th held that IT HAD TO BE THE NIC OR SOMETHING BETTER....
wow missed that part of the opinion...still looking for it.!!!!

You can lead a horse...

Superhero, the Wake spanking by the 20 something clerks was well worth the wait. Marty and Leonidas paid to have the 9th make it clear and direct the Nic was not necessarily required going forward, only no harm. What a coup by Seham and USAPA.

Sure I have heard of training float. It is always for the east. How much training float do you guys carry? How many east pilots were hired and furloughed as temp workers to cover the training float? With better work rules and a more rational training program we will not need to carry extra bodies only to be dumped. Tell you what given a choice between US Airways and any other airline i am going to any other airline. Hired as a temp worker to cover the training float does not sound like a good career move. but then again many of you east guys did it 3 times kept coming back for more. Says a lot about that east coast mentality.

Full sick banks sure try using them. I think the insurance people could consider it fraud. Or the company will force them out on short or long term. This management is not going to have part time "sick" workers. Do you think that calling in sick for every fourth trip might not get someones attention? Give it a try and let us know how that goes.

I didn’t say the process was flawed, I stated that the arbitration award didn’t conform to the arbitration agreement reflected in ALPA merger policy. It is well-established that you can challenge awards on that basis.

Ole Bill is straining so hard to not be irrelevant that's he's leaving out important bits of info that any labor lawyer would know - statute of limitations, long expired by the time he wrote that.
