US Pilots Labor Discussion

You're union has no unity and no leverage, that's why nothing is happening.

I'll explain this to you one more time, it's the union's job to get a contract from the company, the company is not going to give us what we want because they're nice guys.

I will explain something to you also, the Nic is not a requirement in the contract, only no harm. Define harm. Would being paid more for 5 yrs into a merger be "harm?" 😀 Did getting profit sharing constitute harm even if they were NOT a party to LOA 93? Did getting paid more for DH constitute harm, did paying less for medical insurance and getting more vacation constitute harm? Not looking too good on the harm issue is it...... B)

American Airlines and united pilots have been trying for years for a contract. You say the company is not going to give you a contract because they are nice. Your solution please, this will help AA, UAL and US pilots. No fair asking your pappy for an answer now.

do you even read what you write?

first, the leverage is in the people, regardless of the union in charge. unfortunately for you, there is enormously more unity than you or some other naysayers think. if nothing else, the current events were a sign to the company of just how unified we are. that is why they had to go for the injunction. personally I think they were shocked that so many of us are on board and ready to act, and ready to do so again. they of course were counting on traitors like you. fortunately for us, losers like you are now the minority.

you say they will not give us anything because they are nice guys. true statement. but you are unwilling to give them a reason. pilots like you demean the profession because you willingly accept mediocrity and need to go. in the days that led up to unions, you would have probably had your legs broken by now. unlike most of us, you are in fact a scab in waiting; waiting for the opportunity to prove it.

are you so dense that you don't see that you 'personally' and those like you are the reason we are where we are? it is not usapa's fault. the situation would be the same if it was alpa or the teamsters. if you can get enough people to traitor on each other, who don't understand the concept of a team and mutual support, you will lose. fortunately for you, we have enough support to overpower your undermining efforts.

Between Mikey and hair Pi, I don't know who is going crazy faster. All that swearing and crying - it's break time for you boys. At least Mikey wisely has left the boards.
Just name the 2 people in USAPA that are scabs...till then nothing you put on this forum should be answered.

move2clt

According to Webster a "lier" is to make a statement that one know is false. This pretty much sums up move2clt.

Now explain to me how Odell and the furloughed West pilots lost their jobs while furloughed east pilots (even some who were recalled to the West and were by all measures junior to Odell) are now employed.

I'm sorry I missed this earlier.

I can tell you exactly how that happened: The Transition agreement. Go read it, and you will understand. Separate operations until a joint contract.Sections II and VI.

Yes, this has cost us all million. You can blame the east, but the fact is that you guys had a hand in the TA, and that TA allowed what happened. But it's easier being a complete victim.

You know what you can do with your claim that I stole my captain position. Under separate ops it could not be filled with a westie. We still have separate ops, hence no thief.

USAPA is too inept to even give me the chance to cake walk past their feeble picket line.

Darn.

Mikey and PI....both losing it. Wait until LOA93 comes out. Someone had better procure some straight jackets.

Interesting reading over at Wiki Pi. Thank goodness you east guys don't have the tech savvy to add your fantasy to the wiki.

And chew on these numbers Pi:

There's a lot there, but jut skimming them it looked like about $510,000,000 cash at the end of March 2005, and $599,000,000 cash at the end of Sept 2005. What did I miss?
