US Pilots Labor Discussion

Actually, dedicating it to that poor F/A was too soon and very low class..what a way to be remembered... in a stupid union attack video.
The dedication was a mistake and I 've never seen Harry Potter either but I thought on Halloween it was clever.

With USAPA's finances spiraling out of control today US Airways filed three motions in federal court against the union. They are:

1. PLAINTIFF’S BRIEF IN OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANTS’ MOTION TO ALTER OR AMEND SEPTEMBER 28, 2011 DECISION AND ORDER.

2. DECLARATION OF SLOANE GIDDON IN SUPPORT OF PLAINTIFF’S BRIEF IN
OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANTS’ MOTION TO ALTER OR AMEND SEPTEMBER 28, 2011 DECISION AND ORDER.

3. DECLARATION OF LYLE HOGG IN SUPPORT OF PLAINTIFF’S BRIEF IN OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANTS’ MOTION TO ALTER OR AMEND SEPTEMBER 28, 2011 DECISION AND ORDER.

It just gets worse-and-worse for USAPA while the union and their supporters place the pilot group in a more precarious position -- with no new contract improvements on the horizon and year-over-year gross pay reductions looming.

At least we know the rumors floated regarding LOA 93 being good news for east pilots are false according to Tracy Parella. And, starting in 2 months from today east pilots will see a year-over-year gross pay loss with no LOA 93 Lump Sum Distribution and a Profit Sharing check reduction of about 80% less than last year.

Yes, well 2009 and 2010 were certainly the "glory years" for USAPA with the valiant charge by Lee $eham to get a not-ripe ruling from the Ninth and preparing for the two-years of lump sum payments under LOA93. Things began to change in 2011 and USAPA's best years are now behind as it's failures spiral out of control. With the DJ in Silver's courtroom being decalred ripe, the NC district count issuing a temporary injunction on an illegal work slowdown, ID-gate going nowhere, and $eham being given his walking papers while he in turn comes after USAPA for defaulting on their debt owed to him, USAPA has little left to keep the house of cards standing. These are all very costly and embarrassing losses for Cleary and USAPA. Then, if Kasher comes out and deflates whatever remaining support exists on the east, USAPA could be ready for it's last curtain call. The bills and legal losses are mounting with nothing of value to show for it.

It's really all about character and integrity for me...or the lack thereof. It's not about hurting others for my own personal gain.

You know USA320Pilot, I gotta hand it to you...you are consistent at the role of sphincter police. You've heard the saying 'Wherever you go, there you are" it's no surprise to the pilot groups at the two airlines where you have been previously and are currently employed that you embrace this role wholeheartedly. Yes, it takes a special "character" to go on the Internet and postulate about others lack of integrity when you yourself knowingly disobeyed company policy by going on TV in your pilot uniform to sell hair plugs. Oh, don't tell us it wasn't for "personal gain", but because you're such a 'neat guy' and wanted to inform all the bald guys out there.

Pay, Vacation. Retirement, Sick Leave, LTD, Reserve System, et al.
Interesting because Al says otherwise. Check it out:

Most Everything the company wants in a contract is a loss except for money. the only two wins are vacation up to 30 days vs. 21 days and West trip rig is better.

As bad as you claim LOA93 is, it still has:

1. Block Building - NO PBS
2. Bid Sheet - No open time jungle rules
3. SAP and other programs that work on a seniority basis to adjust schedule
4. 1500 sick bank
5. Unlimited disability to retirement. The current company proposal is three years. After three years it's hit the road jack the company doesn't owe you anything.
6. Some of the strongest scope language in the industry
7. Min block hours, Min Fleet [West numbers are tied only the transition agreement and could disappear in a merger- It was Jeff Fruend that said that, not USAPA]
8. Too much other stuff for me to remember right now.

If we get paid I will stick with this contract. I like it just fine.

In that case the court battles will continue until a winner is announced.
Can you elaborate on what constitutes a "win" for either side and what you feel the winner will be able to do with their win? Is it cashing in the lottery ticket, or merely validating that it is a genuine lottery ticket?

Al is dead on. Your bidding system sux. You really have crappy scope language, that will probably bite you in the assets, and soon you will be the lowest paid in the industry. Look at the crappy rates you went with on the 330 that you will never fly. And you fly the 75 and negotiated 321 rates that are horrible also. Mikey is correct, you are pretty stupid.

Right on Eye, this guy is all over the place with his wacky predictions. Look at the UAL board. This is the guy who probably set Jetzz off on the trail to his breakdown.

What happened to the East pilot rumors that USAPA had won the LOA 93 grievance? B) Oooppps!

Just delayed a little bit, Kasher is supposedly pretty pissed at the company for stealing from the eastern pilots for the last two years, so he is writing a nice smackdown. By the way, did you not say legal had a big party going months ago because you said they won?

Eye,

I never went on TV in a US Airways uniform. Stop spreading false information again, but as uSAPian why would we expect anything else from a person like you? I bet you and luvthe9 don't have the guts to PM me your name and identity, do you?
