There will be an appeal to the 9th and ....well....we know what they said!!!!!

Huh? The company is asking for the DJ, not usapa. Why in the world would the company appeal just because they didn't get the answer usapa wants?

Exactly. There are 3 of them that support the west position. 924BS, Traitorjake, and eastcoastposer. 😀 😀 One comment, what would USAPA have to do with a LOA 93 pay loss anyway? It wasn't USAPA that got us in it, it was certain east pilots and ALPA that supported it. USAPA is to be commended for fighting the battle. I guarantee ALPA would tell you to take the Nic or negotiate out of it.

Ain't that what the 9th told usapa?

Oh, I see the difference, ALPA called it "mutual solutions" and the 9th calls it "the harm plaintiffs fear".

Either way, usapa is either going to take the Nic, or negotiate its way out of it, and the only way out does not do "the harm plaintiffs fear".

Al is dead on. Your bidding system sux. You really have crappy scope language, that will probably bite you in the assets, and soon you will be the lowest paid in the industry. Look at the crappy rates you went with on the 330 that you will never fly. And you fly the 75 and negotiated 321 rates that are horrible also. Mikey is correct, you are pretty stupid.

Really?? What sux about it?

We have furloughed east pilots who took employment at AWA pre-merger who say your system is a good one, but it sux compared to PBS. So, I am going with their assesment, being they have used both and you are an idiot that probably knows very little about our system other than it ain't the same as yours.

If they are comparing the East RESERVE system to anything, including slavery in Egypt, then yes, everything else is probably better than the East system.

Eye,

I never went on TV in a US Airways uniform. Stop spreading false information again, but as uSAPian why would we expect anything else from a person like you? I bet you and luvthe9 don't have the guts to PM me your name and identity, do you?

I've PMed you several times to give you a number to call, and as far as I can tell you have never called it. By the way, what kind of pizza did you order?

The problem is East pilots are afraid of learning about a different system and they're comfortable with Line Construction, SAP, and the AIL. This system is antiquated. Even the West PBS, DPU, MAESTRO, and Trip Trade Board is antiquated in comparison to DALs' pilot scheduling system. The new system the Company is going to implement with the AFA is far superior to all of these scheduling programs. and is like SAP on steroids

The part I love about the West PBS, DPU, MAESTRO, and Trip Trade Board is the availability to be able to schedule your self and make instantaneous changes with a Smart Phone.

This is just another example of how USAPA's approach is hurting the pilots.

I think the certainty of an appeal hinges on the fact that the company named usapa and AOL as co-defendants.

So, if usapa does not like what they hear they appeal, and if AOL does not like the answere, they appeal.

The crazy thing about it is usapa does not even know what is said once a decision is made. For instance, look at all the posters here who take the 9th's hypothetical "hey you could not use the Nic, but instead come up with something the West won't sue over, therefore it is not ripe", and read only "NOT NIC".

My best forcast is that Silver will say, usapa and the company are free to negotiate, and the West is free to sue. Exactly the same thing the 9th has already said. So, appeal won't take too long.

And my best guess is that if she saw in that way, she would have granted USAPA's MTD and gained some more breathing room on her docket. Instead she embraced the Company's idea that harm would likely come if they told USAPA "nothing but the NIC" and also that harm would come if they told USAPA, "whatever non-NIC you want to use is fine with us".

I agree.

I am not going to try to guess what she was thinking, but the fact remains that the 9th left the company and USAPA free to negotiate and never consoled the union by saying they could expect the company to help pay for any possible DFR loss once the bargaining was completed and ratified. To the contrary, the 9th seemed to highlight USAPA's responsibility, at least that is what the west seems to always say.

You see, the way his mind works.....he either used the jacket from a former airline that had similar stripes as US, ORRRRRR due to the big TV deal he had, he ordered up a new jacket and shoulder boards from sporty's mag, and thus he can say he never appeared with a USAirways Uniform, but yet, the point got across......

Really dude.....you still doing the Anacostia to save some fue and the companyl??? gotta love those TOGA t/o's, every few hours out of DC....

What a prick!

A couple of guys call you out on your loyalty and you demand that they reveal their IDs to you.

I am sure that if we win LOA93, you will give it back, right? Alas, you are much smarter than the rest of us pilots.

You really should get out of avaition and go ahead and take that roll as cub reporter for some home town newspaper.....that seems to be what gets you off.

Anacostia? That place is dangerous in the daytime.

Wow, just came back from Leonidas meeting and now it turns out that Leonidas is looking to hire ssmp, negotiations are ongoing. Good luck you east clowns lol

He'll enjoy having you kiss his ass after you called him stupid for so long. He will stipulate that every client meeting will begin with "We were so stupid, Mr. Seham, and you have always been and will always be the smartest lawyer. We don't deserve to be in your presence. We are so grateful that you have condescended to take our praises and our money. Please, may we repeat ourselves and say that again?"
