Hmmm walked out of negotiation with the company and refused to go any further. usloppy sets up shop and you go about the business of not honoring your agreement. Then you put together your dream windfall list all the while not honoring our agreement which does what sets up your illegal fence. Then you pay seham unGodly sums of money, he produces nothing so you fire him. Still not honoring your agreement. Hound Parker at every turn about more money and he tells you over and over NO CONTRACT NO MONEY! Still not honoring your agreement. The east then begins what is clearly an illegal job action. East pilots are caught red handed some fired one escorted off the property. Still not honoring your agreements. Illegal job action shut down HARD. Still being dishonorable.

Then you spend tons more money on a losing LOA93 arbitration where there was no snap back provision anywhere in the deal and your pilots testified to this fact. Still not honoring your agreements. 4.5 years pass no contact east still the laughing stock of the industry with pay equal to Horizon air. So now we are near an end game where a court will have to tell the company "sorry guys no indemnity here".

How can you argue with facts when your position is one of complete and utter stupidity? One need look no further than you to understand why you are the sewer of the industry.

It's unfortunate that Wings doesn't have an archive of crew news video, or at least I haven't found it. I remember Parker's words as 24% of the flying the west was doing could be considered traditional east flying while 4% of east flying could be considered traditional west flying. That is very different than the way it's being said now. 24% of west flying is probably 10% or less of traditional east flying. 4% of east flying is probably over 8% of traditional west flying.

Not that it matters - the east is very familiar with the company shifting flying among the bases almost constantly. The company now has another base - PHX - but is doing nothing that old US didn't do all the time - shift flying between bases. The only difference now is that there are contractual limits that set a floor on east and west block hours. The company was caught violating that contractual requirement as it applied to the west, so shifted flying to the west. The company could do that because the east was flying well over the minimum block hours, thanks in large part to the addition of post-merger TA flying.

OK fun with numbers.

East had 1700 furloughs at the time of the merger. 3200 "active" Total number of east pilots 4951. total "active" east pilots 3176. total furloughed east pilots 1775.

Not quite 40% furloughed but 35.8% of the east pilots were furloughed.

There is no way the number reach 600 west pilot required to do the flying that keeps us above T/A mins.

Now for your "24% of east flying"

Parker said that the west was doing 24% of traditional east flying and the east was doing 4% of traditional west flying.Does that mean that 20% has been shifted?

What do those numbers mean? 4% of total west flying was given to the east? 4% of east flying was taken from the west?

24% of total east flying was given to the west? Not likely. If your numbers are to be believed that 50% of the west current flying come from what was traditional east flying we would see a whole lot more east coast trips.

Oh man clowns just hate facts. Wow I was a whopping 4.2% off on my furlough numbers but to some easties on this forum they never had nay pilots on furlough, it was all just a big dream 🙄

From your posts I'm guessing you have backed the west strategy from the get go. Your choice, but accept that you guys had choices. You picked what you thought was best or maybe even the only route for you, but a lot of people were trying to work with east and west for an alternate solution. Accept your decisions and stop whining about the road they have taken you down.

That's the best part...the "growth" on the East is stopping. You've realized all the upgrades you're going to get and then it'll be straight attrition which works out to being 2:1 for captain vacancies...exactly what Nicolau constructed.

Oh and one more thing...why is it the average West captain is pulling in over $155k and the average F/O above 100? I know what you guys make and I know what your work rules are and what you pay for insurance. It's total crap over on the East. Wallow in it my friend!

And you just got a new jacket for free! Don't forget that, but I thought all you guys wore that cool leather jacket. Anyway, if you are a F/O at TOS, that means you are flying about 100 hrs a month to make the same(if my rates are up to date). Wow! Don't know how you could pay $350 less than me for health insurance since I don't pay that much a month. And...........I've been home every night this month. Thanks for playing.

Yup. Just checked with the guy I'm flying with and he grossed above $160 last year.
