US Pilots Labor Discussion

Possibly, this is the fault of the training department. Did they advise us in any distance learning module that the A321 does not in fact have "conventional gear", and landing like a taildragger is not recommended?

"us"? I had the impression you weren't a US pilot. Did I get that wrong?

Interesting in that that's what is being passed along in recurrent and I personally verified it with a contact in the TD.

Thanks for letting me know. I informed the guy that I talked to so they can talk to the guys that are spreading that and get it straightened out.

That's a pretty big claim. I'm surprised that even you would spread a potentially damaging rumor like that on a public board.

Yea, we shoud respect a CEO with 4 DUI's, Kirby with the F/A assault, an asst. chief pilot that stole our personal info and gave it to AOL. You are one heck of an idiot!!!!!
Kirby has denied the assault charge and addressed it a couple times.

The asst. CP did not steal anything. Do you have a court case that proves this fact or just your opinion? Libel I believe would be the word.

Calm down 9-piece. No one stole anything. I'm still wondering how Bradford got my info when was sitting in the back of a van thinking up USAPA.

And as for ethics, as a member if a union that sleeps with its help, accosts fellow officers, impersonates others in emails, etc., you have no room to judge.

Extra crispy today?

Not a rumor and not damaging to me.

I guess they should have pointed out the bios to the east.

They do have a long history of dragging tails. And what's ironic is the east Check Airmen bet money on how many the west would be dragging as soon as we got them.

Guess how many 321's we've dragged.

That's correct: ZERO.
What happens if you drag the tail on your next trip? Or for that matter any west pilot does? Maybe it is zero today, that's no guarantee about tomorrow.

What if I don't?

I hope you don't. I hope none of us do, east or west. However if you do, Heaven forbid, it's a bit harder to live down after you've made fun of others for it.

I don't care about the politcal bs, when it comes to operating airplanes, we are all the same thing. Some things should just be off limits, and this is one of them.

What exactly do the pilots of US get for their 8M?

I can't think of anything either

Promise?

It's ironic that you reference "free world" with USAPA. You dumped a respected union with a track record of success in order to install a littledick tator.

Bradford was just ignorant as to just how much damage his little home computer could do. Now we all know.

I was really starting to think there was a possibility that we could come to some common understanding... But then you lauded ALPA as successful.

A 757 intersection takeoff wouln't necessarily drag its tail but a 321 would end up in the Pacific.

Did you receive a series of lump sum payments? Profit sharing? Did USAPA get those for you? Has USAPA secured any financial increases across the board for their membership?

Are you for real? Do even know the ALPA give backs that they traded for the paltry payouts you speak of? ALPA has a long and successful history of enriching themselves and management via professional pilot wage reductions and numerous concessions. If you want to praise ALPA I'm all ears. I love a comedian.

The problem is the union leadership, the people who support the union leadership, and those who elect the same people or same type of people over-and-over again. As we all know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Why don't you run for election again?
