With all that's going on inside of USAPA's WWHQ's now the PIC admits their investigation is not about recovering money for the pilots. And, they're piggy backing off of ALPA's efforts to see if Congress will further underfund the PBGC in the Pilot Fair Treatment Act. This is a noble cause, but this bill has failed to get out of Committee 4 times during the last 4 sessions during almost that past decade.

East pilots have sustained another gross pay earnings reduction with this expense by not receiving all of the information from USAPA. Meanwhile, 7 East pilots are on the PIC obtaining FPL and not flying the line - more wealth transfer to a segment of the pilot group?

Next...the BPR is going to collectively take "action regarding alleged EVP breaches of confidentiality, duties, responsibilities and fiduciary obligations to USAPA" by Gary Hummel. Is this another political distraction prior to the upcoming elect?

How about an IBT Representative writing an official letter about Mike Cleary's lies, Randy Mowery's assault police report, Mowrey's alleged affair with a member of the General Counsel's staff, or Lee Seham's threat of a civil lawsuit filed against the Association over alleged improper emails/slander?

History as shown that when the UELs fail they cannot accept blame, they point the fingers at others, and then they personally attack to deflect attention from their failures in an effort to keep their union positions of power, lifestyle, FPL, loyalty points and stipends.

What ever happened to personal integrity?

Meanwhile, the rest of the pilots, other employee groups, and corporation suffers...

You have no right to judge or even smirk, since you haven't had to go through that process.

As far as giving everything up....pension, etc....no, we didn't give that up. We were promised a vote on that by ALPA, but never were given the chance to vote. THAT IS THE MAIN REASON ALPA IS NO LONGER HERE!!!!! They betrayed the pilots of USAirways, period.

We were screwed by airline managers leaving with $35 mil in their pockets just prior to BK, then screwed by ALPA.

Fantasy? I would say that it is more of a belief that there is justice in this life and that those who took things from us will get their karma. Sure it is a pipe dream, but we have nothing else to lose and will lose nothing believing in justice......we will stand up for the right thing until they close the doors.

I hope you never have to be in the shoes of an AA employee or one of us......On second thought, with your attitude, I could care less and hope it affects you someday, Junior....then show us your adolescent attitude.

True, but you were not the target of the BK like the USAirways employees and now the AA employees. The AA people have the crosshairs set squarely on their chests. I doubt you lost 48% of your wages, had your contract gutted, and lost a good pension.

Add in the fact that your very own union that you had paid dues to for 15+ years promised you a vote on how things were going to go down...then screwed you in the eleventh hour. The Delta MEC even made the public statement that they hoped we would liquidate so that they would get stronger....some brotherhood, eh? The Delta and United pilots were basically running ALPA at the time.

If all you guys out West will watch how the AA employees are treated throughout this coming BK, you may learn something about where the East pilots are coming from.

Yea, I AGREE , the unemployment line and trying to pay for my mortgage, car and boat sounded so much better!
