US Pilots Labor Discussion

The rational ones who are being held hostage I do give a damn about.

Watching friends I worked with at the commuters suffer on your crap reserve system at that pay isn't fun.

Watching guys like breeze keep perpetuating their crap lifestyle with the LOA93 is it crap makes me sick.

It's my job to check the filth that flows out of his mind with truth and reality.

I don't know about the rest of the east pilots, but you sure have a perverted way of making me want to join your side and throw in the towel.

Never

Still negotiating the nic. Huh?

No. Just looking at the realities of being able to get something voted in. We are a long way removed from 2005, people will vote what they feel is best for them. I simply tried to look at it from all points of view. How would the different groups of the pilots vote.

So what will be the next event that's "just around corner" that will restore the Easties to their Glory of 1984? I'm sure USCABA will trump up something...they've had a month to work on it. Transparancy my ASS.

The vast majority of these scumbags don't know what glory they had in 1984. Because they were hired after that in late '86, '87, 88', or 89'.

Make no mistake, they are simply trying to steal West jobs, and the disengenous bullcrap usapa pulls like this BS hail mary grievence that took two years is symptomatic of how low they will stoop.

Don't get anything voted in.

You "no brainers" can enjoy your marginally improved seperate ops attrition that you paid for with your LOA93 contract.

FWIW, that's the impression I got. As a junior phoenix captain, the way you supposed alot of us may look at it is actually pretty much right on as I look at it, if the nic is it. Personally, I think a nic contract will end up making me a phoenix fo. Will I vote no to keep the seperate ops with fleet protections to keep my seat(I don't want to commute). I dunno, I'd have to ponder on it. 🙂

This is also a loss for you westies but I guess you just have tunnel vision, we would have had to try to get you pay up also. Oh well.
Yeah. Right. A loss for the west.

Hey 9, how is that list of predictions you've been touting for the last couple of years. How about you dust it off and post again for everyone to see. Lets check for accuracy just for fun.

Boy, you guys on the east sure have had a tough a week! Spanked in court by Silver. Spanked again by Kasher. That's quite a one-two punch. Looks like the knock out is coming by February (if not sooner) with an expedited summary judgement on the DJ.

And now you think that after everything you've done to them and all the bravado from the east, the west should be sympathetic? That they are not going to bask in your failures? Really?

Here's a reality check for you. The west will form a circle around the bonfire and sing songs while they watch USAPA burn to the ground.

As we stand, there is a very good chance that is what will happen.

You made the statement that "those scumbags were trying to steal west jobs" I guarantee you that the east would vote in a NIC tomorrow if the attrition from each side was protected. From the east point of view the west is trying to steal the attrition that they have waited 20 years for. There lies the basic problem we have. Had age 65 not changed and the 800 or so that should be gone by now on the east and the 200 from the west were not here we would probably not be in this lawsuit hell.

The tragedy here is that you guys missed a chance to come on up to a higher wage scale if we had won the Kasher decision. Instead, we are all pulled back down to the AWA style contract of having the lowest pay in the industry and trying to work our way up from there.

And you think it is such a victory...all of your chest pounding! You have preached about such a better contract and higher wages if we accept the NIC and negotiate. That is BS with this company....THEY GET BIG BONUSES FOR KEEPING EMPLOYEE WAGES AT THE BOTTOM!

No one is pissy, except maybe you. You should be, however, you lost big today.

No actually I didnt, I just didnt gain. But from how you view your "loss" with the nic I can see how you reason that out.

My next pay check wont be less than the last.

I am sure you would,,,then you would claim that the 80-100 pilot position required just to bring you up to West standards on vacation should be added to "your attrition".

Bottom line is real simple. No Nic..No contract.

PS. Nic already made adjustments for the attrition. All you are asking for is another bite at the apple.
