You will be sharing a cockpit with former America West pilots, if you can't handle it the company will teach you with a few disciplinary meetings.

You will never get a ratified contract... thus you will never be pulling gear for me!

Interesting take on the situation. The west was GIVEN 10% and the west was GIVEN profit sharing. You guys I guess just love to GIVE stuff away. Not a very good negotitating tactic but you all are the experts. The company does not GIVE you parity you negotiate parity. You guys were unable to do that blame yourselves. He has two chioces, either deal with it or dont and quit. I personally hope he chooses that latter as we need to be out with the old and in with the new!!

I am not crying kicking or screaming. I am telling you no contract and I don't want to fly with you or any east pilot that lacks the integrity to honor your agreement or is so unprofessional to act like most east pilots do.

IF you have been a captain as long as AWA was in business that is 28 years as a captain. Hired at 23 plus at best 5 years as an fO. You are close to 56 or more. Keeping stressing your heart like this and you won't make it to 65. But ba bye whenever you leave sooner the better. Unless you were making up some facts.

Do you think that any west guy is happy to be forced into being associated with us air the trash east coast commuter airline? Think again. UAL didn't want anything to do with your airline. DAL didn't, nobody does.

Argument for replacing ALPA. With separate ratification there is a stale mate and we will never get to a contract.

ALPA 11.5 months voted out because they could not get a contract. 8 months of that the east MEC refused to come to the table.

USAPA has had 33 months to break the stale mate and we are further away today then we were under ALPA. When are you guys guys going to hold usapa accountable? usapa has has 3 times the amount of time and produced less.

You do not have control of anything with this company outside of operating a USAirways aircraft how USAirways wants the aircraft to be operated. Again, if you can't handle that the company will teach you with a few disciplinary meetings.
If you are unhappy with the past you can be, don't bring it to the cockpit. If you can't do that, again the company can help you through that with a few disciplinary meetings in the chief pilot's office.
See how this works? Behave and get along, you will be fine. The job is simple, you can probably handle it once you cool your jets.

Actually, your attorneys may just do that because they probably share the same level of understanding about the law as you do.

Understanding of the law? One that still puzzles me on a few levels...how could it be Marty and gang was not even aware who was the current sitting President of USAPA during the Addingtion trial? You would think with all their firepower and your moneys they would at least have taken the simple time to determine the term of the President of the organization they were suing. What is even more perplexing is they were surrounded by West pilots. Guess it speaks volumes as to what not participating in your own union (like it or not) can lead to.

As to your demonization of Seham and Company, it really does not matter one whit. We hired them, just as American hired them almost 50 years ago, to help us get out of ALPA. I will tell you, the best way to get the performance out of your Lawyers, especially when you are trying to start your own independent union, is not to stiff them when things don't your way, ala J Mack and Seham. Might also want to think about not firing them when they tell you the truth you don't want to hear..ala Wye River.

Became members in good standing and funding the USAPA "union" who promised a industry standard contract within six months.....what else can they do? Any suggestions?
