Ask Johnson.
Just did. I will let you know if I get an answer. Like I did with you claim about the A321s that was wrong.
Ask Johnson.
The company would consider the source if, in fact, that has actually occurred. That particular East commuter( if it's who I think it is) already has a reputation with the flight department and his opinions are not highly valued by the CP's office or the Check Airmen.
From what I have observed, the West pilots fly the SOP's to the letter. If you are a MIG or dues paying non-member, you are required by law to be protected. Knowing the individuals on the Violations Committee, I believe you would be vigorously defended.
Maybe Ed and Lyle will put some West pilots in as Assistant Chief Pilots in CLT and surprise us all............
Parker, Kirby, Cleary, management, ALPA, etc., etc.Let's see. noyellowneck, endofusapa, toganoflex.........who am I missing?

How about that eastie that sat in back and took pictures of an allegedly ice covered wing and then reported the crew to his CPO.I can't imagine someone violating the oath of privacy in the cockpit that we all live by. If this is true, he is way out of line. Even though I commute, I have never been treated badly by a West crew and respect the fact that I am bumming a ride.
However, I was unaware that "he who's name shall not be spoken" commuted out of SFO. I would not put it past him and I am sure the company has no respect for anything he says. That is the type of individual we are talking about and I hope you guys can see how much respect we have for his type.

Good for you boo boo. Please post his response.Just did. I will let you know if I get an answer. Like I did with you claim about the A321s that was wrong.

Needless to say, nothing came out of it.
While I agree in principle with your position, consider mine. Ask around about a certain east commuter from SFO, who has reportedly ridden on west jumpseats, only to report west pilots for alleged violations of SOPs. As a pilot "working without a net" i.e. union protection for the last several years, do you really expect all west pilots to be willing to expose themselves to that risk? I appreciate the vagaries of commuting, however, it's CYA out there.
Fellow LCC aviators;
ReformUSAPA is a website that was created for the sole purpose of changing the USAPA Constitution & Bylaws. If you had gone to the website previously (www.reformusapa.com) and completed the petitions in the past, they have EXPIRED.
With the potential of new USAPA leadership, we are again ramping up the efforts to legally change USAPA to be a union for all LCC pilots. Please go to the website. Read the home page, and bring up the petitions (there are three). Even if you disagree with the Nicolau seniority arbitration, the other two are positive changes to make our union MORE democratic (and LESS autocratic). Even if you are wishing to return to ALPA (or go to some other CBA), you should do this while you wait for that change.
Thank you for taking the time to review this information.
Regards,
CB
What a chicken f@#$%&*.
I didn't hear about that one.
Who are they? Mike Cleary, Randy Mowery?Well guys, the new ACPs are out in CLT and sorry, no west guys. I actually thought they might.
