US Pilots Labor Discussion

Just because you keep repeating this over and over and over.. does not make most of the EAST get on board and do what you want...

just like the election.

the first questions will be, what is your position on the NIC.

if they state they want to implement it, they lose..

simple as that.
The first question will be "Do you plan on continuing Cleary's losing strategy?"

The NIC does not belong to the west. It was the result of the process between the east and west and should be upheld. Beyond that, there is much more to be gained for ALL US pilots with the NIC than trying to fight the losing battle to ignore it.

Rational voters will respond to rational arguments. And I'll bet there are enough to silence the AFO's into irrelevance.

The Nicolau was a winning lottery ticket. Even my neighbor who is a federal judge says that.

Your career expectations included a 757, max. That is all. Sorry, that is all you will ever get. If that.

Your scabs might be interested in China, hiring at $160,000 per year, min. I hear, in addition to a $90,000 exclusion from fed tax and full health, you get a young person, your choice, to warm your bed. (They are a little short on guy bed warmers, so I can understand why your "friends" do not jump at the offering.)

Now that you got that off your shoulders Claxon, you can go back to your hole.

Did you tell the Judge your company was twice bankrupt and two weeks away from chap.7? Did you bring up "career expectations" to him after that little revelation? Was he still sympathetic after hearing that?

AirTran must reinstate pilot who reported problems
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Tuesday ordered AirTran Airways to reinstate a former pilot who was fired after a sudden spike in the number of mechanical problems he reported.

The agency also is requiring the airline to pay more than $1 million to the pilot in back wages, plus interest and compensatory damages.

OSHA officials say an investigation found reasonable cause to believe the airline violated whistleblower protection laws when it terminated the pilot in 2007.

"Retaliating against a pilot for reporting mechanical malfunctions is not consistent with a company that values the safety of its workers and customers," said OSHA Assistant Secretary David Michaels.
