US Pilots Labor Discussion

So 1 PM proves something...never mind, I assume it does to you. I'd venture to say that Move considers all westies as his friends...maybe even a few easties too...

Jim

PM....are. I guess I should have put PMs, although PM would stand for Private Message or Private Messages, right? I'll change it so the others like you can keep up. Thanks. I think up to around 5 critical of MSU and his thoughts from westies. He might consider them his friends, but not all of they feel the same way. I believe a west poster laid some blame on him in public a few days ago. You must have nodded off.

So, what did you think of the briefs?

No, they would not have been okay with it, but they may have lived with it. Do you read any of boeing boys posts? He is still mad about the PI/US SLI twenty plus years later. But, I believe the 16+ years of service guy put behind a guy fresh out of indoc. was the tipping point. We will never know, will we?

Too bad for your (very weak) argument that the guy fresh out of incoc was gainfully employed while your 16+ year guy was NOT. When are you guys going to get it through your heads that hanging around a losing company hoping for the best does not give you the right to screw those who were working for a growing company and NOT FURLOUGHED. Your 16 year furloughed guy did NOT bring anything to this "merger". The fact that our guy was fresh out of indoc is proof that he was working for a growing company.

Ah, the old boxer or briefs question. Seriously though, and I haven't checked for anything new today, USAPA is heading for something akin to the injunction hearing. Seems they're mostly trying to try the Nic - something they failed to do when they had the chance after being elected CBA.

Jim

BTW, an s on the end generally means plural. Just as you said, PM isn't the same as PMs.

You putting words in my mouth again? Never was nor said I was mad about that. Disappointed, certainly. As it happened I was on the way to work when I heard about that award on the radio. It was a hot topic that day. But everyone accepted it and went on with their life. Unlike some ex-PI pilots, though, I didn't change my mind on what was fair nearly 20 years later when I was the one that DOH would advantage.

Jim

That was proposed to the West at Wye River as told to me directly by an East ALPA Wye River participant. West rejected the offer.

NLG out.
The west should have never showed up at Wye River. They should have instead gone to court to force Prater to sign the JCBA and complete the mutually agreed-to arbitration. And Ferguson should have told Cleary to hold still while he set up his video camera.

Ah, the rewards of giving the east the benefit of the doubt.

Big airplane for a small regional airline!

Seriously though, sometimes yes or no works. So, that is a no, you haven't read them. It's actually AOL that is "mostly trying to try" DFR. They might succeed this time for the reason CG gave, I don't know. I was curious about your opinion.

BTW, I haven't changed my mind about things since I was a PI pilot either.

How you managed to get a "no" out of that I'll never know. Of course, a lot of your reasoning is a mystery...

Likewise, the "It's actually AOL that is "mostly trying to try" DFR." I said Nic, not DFR. AOL has never stopped trying to win the DFR and why should they - the 9th just called a time out and Silver called "Play ball". Even the company is trying to get a ruling on the DFR from Silver.

They did bring something to the merger, the right to move into a vacated slot prior to any outside pilot. Had we been staffed properly, or even as the west was, they would have been back. If Odell was working for a growing, thriving company, why is he furloughed today? Seems that thriving, kick butt airline would have kept growing while the east was shrinking. I know what you will say, it's been beaten to death so you can save it. My response was to Clear who doubts that would make a difference. That's okay, because we will never know.

Because you have never answered, except for "Seriously though, and I haven't checked for anything new today, USAPA is heading for something akin to the injunction hearing." Typical Jimbob talk about. No yes or no, just b.s. I know you are arrogant, do you see yourself as mysterious? I don't care Jim.
