Sure, I think you and every US Airways pilot should vote for Eric. That is the way we are going to move forward.

My point was be careful about throwing around that majority rules thing. Someday you may not be in the majority.

No, it refers to those who demand proof that they said something while in the same post admitting it was a quote of their words. It's not surprising that you don't like the game you started and want to get out of it by slinging insults - quite normal for you in fact...

That [MDA] is another reason in the long list of why ALPA is not on this property anymore.
Yet all the people responsible are still "on this property" if they haven't retired and still trying to use the MDA folks for cannon fodder, this time in the SLI war. And no eastie says a word about it...

Ok, tell me then, what in Eric's platform is going to do anything to address the issues that the east pilots have about our current situation?

East pilots are concerened with the following in no particular order. Loss of the attrition that they waited 20+ years for, MDA pilots issues, being placed below much younger pilots which will keep them in the right seat to retirement, 1/3 of the east list will be voting to put 1600 people above them if they vote for Eric, etc etc.

About the only thing the two camps have in common is trying to get more pay, but unless Eric can guarantee that the right seat is going to pay what the LOA 93 left seat pays now he is barking up the wrong tree since a huge number of voters will be voting themselves into the right seat for many years to come if they are young enough, or right seat until retirement if they not young enough.

AOL can pretend that no one exists below those slotted in on the NIC list and say "Nobody got stapled" etc. But the pure fact of the matter is 1/3 of the east guys see it that way, and the other 2/3 see it almost as bad as that.

Nothing that Eric has said or done has even remotly addressed what it is that the east pilots care about. I have seen east pilots on here try to address west issues, DOH, PHX drawdown worries etc. Not once can I remember a west pilot or candidate even mentioning what it is that is driving the east to take the actions they are taking. Instead it is a constant barrage of "Scab" "Scumbag" Pissed off looks in terminals and hotels, snide comments in crewvans etc.

Given that enviornment, how good of a chance do you think the west agenda has of getting many east guys to vote for it?

I know the response this post will get from many on here. It is expected and will further solidify for me the fact that any vote for Eric in this campaign will be a vote to completly screw me(top 2/3) and those junior to me(bottom 1/3).

Your issues are now moot. You made your bed with the arbitration and its now time to crawl in. There's nothing anyone (east or west) can do to address your issues. Your only option is to accept the Nic to move forward. Why not do it with some actual leadership for once?

Oh, and we have no drawdown worries here. So relax.

Yes Jim it is talked about, I have seen the MDA hose job come up in several conversations in the crew room and how the guys got boned. Funny how you profess to know what we talk about in the cockpits and crew rooms when you are retired and out of the loop.

You like a lot of the west think the east pilot group is represented by everything that comes out of the USAPA offices. Many are not too happy with the way things have been run the last couple of years, but having said that. The crap AOL is pushing far outweighs the political turmoil we see at USAPA headquarters. It's kinda like Democrats and Republicans in this years election, Neither is a good choice but one is far worse than the other.

AOL is so far out of the loop on what the east guys are concerend with as to be comical when reading their flyers.

I don't think it has ever occured to you that the average east pilot is perfectly happy to be "parked". In fact I have yet to hear a single pilot out on the line even mention the fact that negotiations are parked. If it were not for USAPA updates and on this board I would not even know about it.

That is how bad the average east pilot sees NIC and the AOL agenda. But normal west response "accept NIC and move forward" We don't give one rats ass what the east pilots concerns are but please vote for us in this election.

Here's what you wrote, in quotation marks, indicating I said it:

"It's the same east "don't look at where we were then, look at where we are after getting most of the benefits of the merger."

I can assure you, I never said that, hence the proof request. You like to put words in other people's mouths when protesting the same.

You have one voice and one vote..so let's have usapa give me a ta to vote on...oops....crazy me, I forgot Keroseneuser. They're (usapa) parked by the nmb with a permanent injunction hanging over their brain trust heads from lcc via Federal Judge Conrad...Federal Judge Silver will soon report on the companies legal ramification of colluding with usapa's DFR on an illegal list presented by usapa.

Things are setting up nicely for parker to do a cram on east pilots with a deer in the headlights LOOK AGAIN such as the loss of pension, loa 93 and last but not least, a fair and legal NIC award.
