I believe that nic4us said you were a west F/O that lost his captain bid after the merger. Is that true, if you care to respond. If you don't want to answer that is fine.

Well I'll chiime in. We had pilots downgraded and line holders bumped to reserve after the merger. It's obvious where the windfall went. West went from growth and hiring to shrinkage/stagnation and the east went from downsizing and furloughing to growth and hiring.

Well I'll chime in as well, Most 84, 85,86 hires were CAPTAINS, DC-9 MD80, B-737, long before the NIC ahead of us counterparts were even hired, OH cry us a river! MM!

A 20-year DOH didn't buy very much on 9/26/2005 did it? Were those guys hired in '84 sitting in the left seat or the right seat when AAA emerged from bankruptcy? Do US still fly DC-9s and MD80s? What happened MM?

Round and round she goes.......we've had this discussion. If you can send me a copy of your contract with AWA where they promise you a block by this date, an upgrade by this date, the left seat of a widebody by this date, then we can carry on. Otherwise I'm not interested.

The term windfall seems offensive to you. Perhaps we stop using that and other offensive terms like scab, scumbag, thief, etc. Deal?
