I believe what I believed when I voted for USAPA vs. ALPA. A vote for ALPA then guaranteed the Nic and a permanent degradation to my career that was/is unrecoverable. A vote for USAPA provided a .00001% chance that Nic would not be implemented.
I believe now that a vote for the west ticket in the USAPA election also guarantees a Nic cramdown. Hummel & Co. gets my vote.
Sorry guys, but a vote for the west slate does not provide any tangible gains for an eastie, therefore has no value.
Everyone must answer the "what's in it for me?" question.

Your ignorance is glaring! How can you equate voting for Ferguson with voting for the Nic. There's a little somethin' called the BPR and a contract vote that separates you from the NIC. What you'll get with Hummel is more infighting and lawsuits and less unity and leverage because he will bend to whatever popular opinion demands, even if it doesn't serve the interests of the pilots. Voting for Ferguson puts you on the path to a much better contract. The Nic is settled - it will be the eventual seniority list. But you can take control back from a small cabal of self-seeking, irresponsible and corrupt group with a lackluster record of performance and put it in the hands of a group who has proven it's ability to lead through times of adversity with their integrity intact.

Give us one example to prove there is an east pilot who has proven themselves worthy to lead this group.

That sounds great, I'm sure you will make a great doctor. Good luck with that medical school application, assuming you can even get one to take you seriously, it shouldn't take you too long to get through any organic chemistry and biology refresher courses to be able to pass the MCAT. Then there's that pesky 3-4 years in med school, followed by a few years of residency, followed by a few more in whatever you decide to specialize in. If all goes well you should be hanging out your shingle and starting to build a practice by your mid 60's and none too soon either, because you are going to have one hell of a student loan to start paying back!

Great response. My daughter has a T shirt that you would appreciate. It says: " Champions train, losers complain" Not to brag but she holds three state championships in track here in AZ, and was on the 2A high school state champion basketball team two years in a row. She was offered a conditional acceptance to the US Coast Guard Academy after completing their FIT program last summer but chose to attend a private college closer to home. Even if I could post names, I'm not going to write a post with hundreds of names on it. People have already posted examples on here with seniority numbers and you guys still don't get it. Time of merger, AWA senior captain 20 years, US reserve FO 18 years. DOH/LOS = Ka Chunk! (sound of staple gun).

I didn't ask for a list, just two names, thats all. But, If I understand you correctly, the West Pilots are not going to understand nor except a DOH with conditions and restrictions combined list with the idea that they(you) agree with the NIC percentage type integration. IOW, seat protection means nothing to you, and guaranteed upgrades, at least the ones that you had, mean nothing, and a percentage imtegration is fair. Period. I am sorry I can not disagree more.

Though it may seem difficult for you to understand, though someday you might, if DOH with C&Rs doesn't work for you and the NIC doesn't work for me, I vote to maintain Status Quo!
