The new guys on the 190 know that if they vote for the nic (fergie and Move2) they'll be voting for 1700 guys to bid ahead of them on the next system bid.

1700? LMAO! It's just me heading out there. And how do you know some of those guys don't want to come west?
 
You're a fear mongering lunatic if you believe 1700 people are going to bid East. Regardless of what happens, those guys are on the bottom. They've been scraping by for years because of you entitled, arrogant P*&^%ks.

They're going to vote for the quickest possible contract...not fall on their swords for 5 more years to accommodate you and your pointless, illegal quest.


This just goes to show what little you know about the East. There are 73 E190 f/o's. The bottom half of the E190 f/o's have been with the company a year or less. The top half choose to be on the 190 for lifestyle. Every single one of them is off of seat lock and could bid and hold any other Group 2 (737 or A320) aircraft in the East system. The top 15 could be a line holder on a Group 2 aircraft but choose to stay on the E190. In fact, the top 4 could be widebody f/o's. To say they "have been scraping by for years" is quite a bit of a stretch.
 
Your ignorance is glaring! How can you equate voting for Ferguson with voting for the Nic. There's a little somethin' called the BPR and a contract vote that separates you from the NIC. What you'll get with Hummel is more infighting and lawsuits and less unity and leverage because he will bend to whatever popular opinion demands, even if it doesn't serve the interests of the pilots. Voting for Ferguson puts you on the path to a much better contract. The Nic is settled - it will be the eventual seniority list. But you can take control back from a small cabal of self-seeking, irresponsible and corrupt group with a lackluster record of performance and put it in the hands of a group who has proven it's ability to lead through times of adversity with their integrity intact.

Give us one example to prove there is an east pilot who has proven themselves worthy to lead this group.

Just one question. Has Ferguson or Koontz ever referred to any east pilot or pilots as a scab? A simple yes or no will do. I can't remember will not cut it.
 
Great response. My daughter has a T shirt that you would appreciate. It says: " Champions train, losers complain" Not to brag but she holds three state championships in track here in AZ, and was on the 2A high school state champion basketball team two years in a row. She was offered a conditional acceptance to the US Coast Guard Academy after completing their FIT program last summer but chose to attend a private college closer to home. (full ride academic scholarship)

I'm going to retire for 20 or 30 years and then pick a new career. No complaining here. trust me on this.....zone 5 has done just fine and will continue to do well. Stating the facts does not mean one is complaining.

First of all, it's not even close to 1700 active pilots in PHX right now. Second: You are stating that we ALL are going run and pi$$ in your little cesspool all at once?? Third: You are stating that the third listers are "ON BOARD" for voting in Hummel, Bradford & Smyser for the sole purpose of separate operations? In so doing, guaranteeing only DELAY of the inevitable AND losing the possibility of an improved contract and wage sooner rather than later????

JBLU E190 Captains are now making $142.83 (compared to our current $100.55 for a 12+ year Captain) an hour, and FO's are making $48.48 (compared to an estimated $48.72 for a 4 year FO)!

Delta is now negotiating its second post-merger contract!!

LURKERS: You have two choices. Vote to move on with a joint contract together that includes an unrestricted Nicolau OR vote for further delay with the EXACT SAME final outcome. Vote educated & informed, not emotionally & in the dark.

You lost me. I'm sure the east has a few scabs on it's side. We have a few over here. I'm not one. If someones a scab, they're a scab. I can think of a few other words for them, but won't post them.

East Pilots cut a sweetheart deal with US when the IAM Mechanic ad related went on strike and they crossed the picket line.

One must wonder where the supposed voice of dissent on our BPR stands on this blatant censorship? After all, candidate Hummel is the current Executive Vice-President. If he doesn’t have the courage to speak up in this instance, we can only imagine his response as our puppet president.

The reason Hummel hasn’t taken a public position on this despicable instance of censorship is because Rowe and Menear support the current communications policy of the union. As a matter of fact, so does Joe Stein, as he voted in favor of the policy when his intent was to silence the west. Now that he is the one being silenced, he is feigning disgust. But we digress.

Rowe and Menear need to censor the west and all voices of dissent in order to maintain their power. If the membership knew the truth about the millions of dollars squandered on their lunatic agenda they would never get elected. Stringing along the pilots through three more years of nothing requires the continuation of the carefully crafted propaganda machine started under President Bradford.

We can stop this takeover by Rowe and Menear, but your vote is needed. A courageous vote that places trust in the very people we’ve been taught to despise. We have one more week to send these people out to the pasture and let them fly their lines in obscurity. Returning the reigns of power to these failed former representatives with the expectation for change is not a viable strategy. TheEye has maintained all along that the west is needed for us to be successful.

Enough of the censorship.
Enough of the power hungry flight pay loss vultures.
Enough of our life under LOA 93.

Vote for real change and let’s work with our west brothers and sisters for the betterment of all.

I was just trying to express my incredulousness at his inane remark. It just landed so far from the realm of reality that I didn't know how to address it any other way.

Here's the thing: not only can some of the 190 f/o's hold positions on higher paying equipment, they can also hold reserve captain on the 190, if they choose.
Some are considering that move within the next few bids. They all know that if Nic is implemented (BTW, the one and only agenda item for Fergie & Crew), they will be bottom dwellers for a long time to come.
Like 1700 numbers long.
It's simple math.
So......westies.......whatcha got in exchange for the nic that benefits these guys over the rapid advancement due to attrition that they already have? Some phantom pay rate that will magically appear when Doug & Scooter see the nic in section 22?

Hey Pullout, no compromise, no conditions and restrictions. Uh, nothing to exchange. What do you have for the Westies who were furloughed as a result of Eastie furloughees being recallled? Save Dave, furlough Dean, we'll start with that. That way, we can find a place for the third listers which gives them the rapid advancement they deserve.
