US Pilots Labor Discussion

Gentlemen,

Due to recent events, specifically the ranting’s distributed by the PHL “Compass Correction” regarding false allegations of an alleged “ whisper campaign”, I feel that is necessary to denounce these unfortunate attempts at character assassination with a full disclosure of the facts that precipitated this behavior. In the interest of transparency, I am forwarding to you all a copy of my election protest that was filed in response to the National Officer election that concluded on February 23rd. This protest was properly delivered within the guidelines of the USAPA Constitution and Bylaws and is self-explanatory and should dispel any and all rumors regarding my integrity and openness to the current election process.

For the record, as far as I am concerned, this protest is not confidential and look forward to the full disclosure and discovery of these documents.

Respectfully,

Capt. Bill McKee
Ha! Is the rock star scab billy mcKleary looking for another bite at the apple? Of course he is. Failure is a way of life for these idiots.

Mindless blather. Mind puke.
Read the TA: No bump/ No flush.
Sheesh.

That, of course, is based on ALL parties finishing up the process 5 years ago (arbitrated list delivered, not contested, no new union, and completed contract under the JNC). Who knows what the courts may decide now. Why don't you tell the furloughed west pilots that brought a job with them to this merger how they weren't damaged. Meanwhile, pilots that were furloughed at the time of the merger remain employed??

Time will tell.

Actions speak louder than words. Why did you post this? It's like reading a paper on ethics, written by Nixon. Suitable for print on rolls of TP.

Agreed. Previously not a remedy, but the levels of damage are continuing to mount. Better start pouring the Draino down, getting the pipes ready for the turds about to pass through! 😛

It is pretty ironic that you quote, in reality, a non-commissioned saying and don't even realize that, in the military, if you wanted a job accomplished, you went with the most senior dude, the one with more stripes than a California freeway. That is, seniority, as in "has more years than anyone else". Sort of like, seniority by DOH.

Just sayin'

What military were you in? I don't recall enlisted men getting the super stripes simply by hanging around. The first two, maybe. After that they were earned. You do know what it's like to earn something, don't you?

Because they like riding our coat tails, we saved them from "Project Zanzibar" That will come out more in "discovery". 😀

Oh, that's a good one. Spoken by the guy who would be a Wal Mart greeter if it weren't for AWA.

Damages? what damages? Everyone has been offered a job.
Let's throw a pity party because vegas closed and now you are flying 24% of east stuff.
Oh, BTW, thanks for all the support on parity.
Waaaaah.

Bwwaaahhahahhahahahha! You can stuff your head somewhere and choose not to see the damages, but I guarantee the courts will see them. You mentioned pity party and support on parity in the same paragraph, HAHAHHHAHHAHAH, stop it, you're killin' me! I haven't laughed this hard in ages.

Seriously(wiping tears from eyes), you guys get your parity when we all get a new contract, you know that. We don't deal with terrorists trying to hold hostages, by paying them. Parker knows that, the west knows that. You're just late to the party.

"Now I don't care who ya are, That's funny!" - Larry the cable guy

Thank you, I take full credit for that one.

My last bunch of posts were a combination of; beer, wine, and inputs from two friends over for lunch, one Alaska pilot and an accountant. Nothing like a round of drunk posting.

The east tried to do this and, as usual, FAILED.
Luvn, That statement could not be further from the truth. You are here because the USAirways Pilots saved this company from the ruthless, abhorrent Management before your existance on the property. Really, Do you think we took pay cuts, gave up benefits and our pension to ensure our demise? You are here because of our more than generous gift.

Wrong again. America West Holdings bought bankrupt US Air. Your company was AQUIRED. Some marketing gee whiz decided the name US Airways was more recognized. Too bad, for the wrong reasons. I'm sure our furloughed pilots thank their lucky stars every day for their generous gift.

Zone 5 = EastUS You do know Top Gun was a fictional movie, don't you?

As one who long ago surrendered any farcical notion that further "conversation" with most all such westies as post here was of the slightest value, and anything other than an unhealthy indulgence in some morbid fascination, as to just how intellectually and spiritually deficient some hominids can be and yet operate some kind of aircraft, well ; I'm only popping in to correct the "Zone 5 = EastUS". I don't personally know Zone5, but, unlike such charming little princesses as yourself, that somehow see some perverse need to disparage Tomcat drivers, will only note that I've a great deal of respect for those that opted for cats/traps, and willingly endured the personal sacrifices attendant to life on "Bird Farms", my father having been career USN. Over time; he lost enough friends via carrier ops to have rather strongly suggested that I go USAF...unsinkable and immobile "ship"/air conditioned hooches/cold beer upon mission completion/even some golf courses/the actual presence of women/etc. That places me in the "eunuch in a hook shop" status where commenting on carrier flying is concerned.

Speaking of "eunuch in a hook shop" status; it's wryly amusing to note that the vast majority of you west folk posting here had/have projected associations, as the stated case with Beancounter, "Well I guess the F-15 and A10 pilots in my AWA new hire class just weren't as cool as a Navy pilot", or can point to having an ex TBird within the AWA ranks, as nic4us has done long ago...or otherwise find ways to esteem yourselves, evidently by way of AWA association only, as somehow equal in experience and accomplishments to any/all others.

From your fine young emissary/diplomat extraordinaire EastCheats, we have the following display of typically disrespectful, infantile arrogance: "I don't have the time to stroke your ego, about the Kitty Hawk, lunar landings or whatever. I got an earful from your Hudson heroes at the Addington trial. I'm not impressed. Go find someone who is. Try the mirror" Whew!...Little to be said there....that's almost a clinical case study of Arrested Development Syndrome in and of it's self. Your fine people of the "..and we hate you guys"/Move2CLT/et al ilk...I'd feel properly best left in the kind, caring hands of an entire team of psychiatrists.

Oh well. One must properly suppose that such self indulgent fantasies, as are so frequently spewed forth by the majority of west posters hereabouts, are required mental mechanisms in order to support the assertions that, say 17 more years than one's self of even just plain airline ops should afford no person the very slightest modicum of respect. In fact; said additional years flown is apparently subject only to scorn, as all should have magically known the distant future, and opted for other employment long ago. Interestingly enough though....the same west posters espousing such contempt clearly fail to consider their own current situation. They are evidently staying with AWA/"US" and just plain hoping for better things in the future......

No matter really...the sorry state of affairs "is what it is", and is likely to remain so for some time. My position hasn't changed at all. The only promise I've made to the board readers is that I'll never vote in favor of anything containing the nic....period. That is not subject to change. Doing such would be against all principled thought, and I'm not about to sell out fine folks I've shared the airline's or otherwise sky with, in order to have such as the charming west youngsters as post here jump over them, just because St. Nic said it's just ok for such rank, rancid opportunism to even be conceived of.

I hold no personal grudge against the west as a group, and have indeed had some very enjoyable conversations with a number of "westies". Having said that....I'm completely content with the thought of flying my remaining airline days out without ever needing to tolerate the presence of utterly clueless, entirely disrespectful, and downright infantile sufferers of narcissistic personality disorder, as are most often, so flagrantly evidenced by the bulk of west posters here, in any working cockpit. Jumpseaters excepted. Apologies and noted exceptions to lynyrdskynyrd and any/all other, actual adults out west.

Life's to be lived and enjoyed people. It's highly unlikely that anyone's deeply rooted opinions will in any way be altered by any/all internet correspondence here.

Best to All

"Lord what fools these mortals be"....no exclusions for myself in that tag 😉

I guess the ironic part there will be, who will you sue? In a stand alone scenario, by the time the lawsuit winds it's way through the legal system, there will be only a few east pilots left. The west pilots will be in charge......you will be suing yourself. In a merger scenario, USAPA will likely not survive.....who will you sue?
