US Pilots Labor Discussion

Staring you in the face...so of course you don't see it. Check back in a few months. You're in for another rude awakening.

Damn, didn't you hear, the western should be alarmed. James Cameron took the Nic on his historic dive to the bottom of the sea and planted same solidly where the mob would. Where the fishes reside. So sorry. Now the eastern and the 3 percents per year are adding nicely to overtake the western battle cry of pay advantage. Add in PBGC and military, there is NO Nic. Checkmate, game over. What now Try2Move buteffed? Davidson has not extended the lines of flow far enough to encompase your dreams.
The dream ended in the long brown piles off the end of appr. 36c. ECAM status, brown piles, no MOVE2ANYWHERESO SO SORRY.

I get it, you're a comedian. Anybody who has a heart rate of 40 spent too much time with Bob in Dublin and passed out..He he

Fourty, must be your age. Got ya by more than a decade, FYI

Good for your decade. You will need the time. Good for you!

What about the pilots at east and the sweetheart deal they made with the company when they crossed out picket line, they couldnt run fast enough to go to work.

What about the dysfunctional lav driver that did the no hitters in PHL over and over, until they caught him slow at the move between third and home? OUTTA HERE!!!!!!

I have patience and will get what is owed to me.
If it takes a decade, so be it.

That's an excellent attitude, and a very reasonable one...with the possible exception of "what is owed to me", since to be "owed" anything, one must generally have actually done something to warrant it.

"If it takes a decade, so be it." I must ask then; what was the huge problem with, at the very least, ever evidencing even some slight respect for the length of service of others within your class and craft?

The only problem I have with that is the way the east insisted I be placed under duress. I have no problem philosopicaly with some of your arguments, but rather with the big hammer you guys drug out. The huge problem is how the east went about it. I get where you are coming from more than you may think, but what would you expect me to do when you try to go for the submission? It's only human nature to get ones back up, so to speak.

The track we are on now, it probably won't matter one way or another which way the gavel falls by the time it's all said and done. I've resigned myself to the fact that this is the way it was destined to be, in many ways our situation has just taken on a life of it's own, one that once started must run it's natural course. It is what it is. In the meantime all these various analogies and the ninny ninny boo boo that both sides are slinging across the aisle are a collosal waste of time.

Agree, if the east had taken the stance of, "hey this is really going to hurt some of our guys we need to find a solution."

No, it was an all out attack, with a DOH/LOS staple the west attitude.

Then what choice did we have, but to, get it on like Donkey Kong.

LS,

It is unfortunate that Cleary and his crew hijacked our new union......IMHO, that is where a lot of the problem lies. I agree that things should have been handled a lot differently and think that different USAPA leadership would have had a different outcome. I think Hummel will be a more fair leader and I really hope to see things change.

I'll bet you can lift 12 ounces. Sorry, your friend Bob probably can lift a pint. I noticed he spends a lot of time in Ireland and is close to retirement. Hope he is young enough to be a candidate for a liver transplant. You go Bob, keep bragging about those layovers. LOL

The liver is just fine and so is the heart. I usually walk 4 or 5 miles a day when in DUB. Lots of hills so it's a great cardio workout.

So now you think that Cleary was a problem after 4 years. Where was the recall? What about all the east guys on here saying that Cleary was their guy and the greatest leader ever?

Who was it that said usapa was the best money they ever spent?

usapa was supposed to be this fantastic union built from the ground up for the pilots. How is it that we need a "fair" leader? How is it that this new east created and run union became unfair? Unfair to who? Just the west pilots or have you guys figured out that usapa is unfair to everyone? It was OK when the west communication was censored but that same policy got used against and east rep. Then it was a problem.

McKee is still causing problems and trying to overturn the election. Are you and the rest of the east pilots going to allow him and the Cleary crew to continue the nonsense or are you going to stand up and say something, put an end to the crap?

Did you see the latest update. The Cleary crew lead by McKee called for a meeting after the meeting to get around the rules and tell the appeal board how they should do their job. Just another example of if you don't like the outcome don't live up to your agreements. McKee lost let it go. How much more time and money is this union going to waste because some est pilots can't accept the outcome and throws a temper tantrum?

Glad to hear you will be in good health as you near retirement, Bob.

Why should length of service as a furloughed pilot have more consideration over an actively flying pilot? We will be in court again to determine what is owed to pilots who were disadvantaged by pilots who refuse to abide by a process they agreed to participate. Why was I not surprised to see there has been a challenge to the election? Your pilot group wants do over after do over.

That is the reason USAPA always stuck in neutral and hopelessly dysfunctional.

1. All McKee has to do is pull a Schoppal in reverse, and voila, redo on the election. They did it on purpose in case Eric won they had a trap door. Put an end to the crap?? No way, usapa is nothing but a pile of crap.

2. Get around the appeals board....but of course. The BPR will change the rules so the appeals board is not the appeals board, but just three guys who do what they are told by the scab leadership.

3. A lot more time and money are going to be wasted because the east pilots can't get their collective heads around the fact that 1/2 of them had dick for seniority, and 1/4 of them had no seniority at all.

Solution?? Quit playing their game.
