#1. Grounding of 7 to 10 of the A-300 Aricraft.

#2. Return of 767-200 and MD80 Aircraft from desert storage.

#8. Grounding of the rest of the A-300 fleet and purchase order for the BOeing 7E7 Aircraft.

The leases on the A300s don't expire until 2008 (when 3 are up) and the other 21 terminate between 2009-2013. AA owns 10 additional A300s but they're mortgaged as well. Park them early? Maybe.

During last week's conference call it was mentioned that AA is activating the one non-retired 762 from storage later this year, along with 3 MD-80s. No word on whether AA will reactivate the 13 parked 762s that it claims were retired last fall (and which the 10-K says AA has no plans to return to active service).
