Ok I would like to know why Lynn Caramello wasn't present in Philly yesterday. Why did Rob Wessinger run away and last but not least where was Sherri Baker? IN SOLIDARITY my foot. The biggest action this entire union has taken and THREE people running for office weren't there? Really? I can't WAIT to hear the spin on this. 🙄 Cleaning house folks....CLEANING HOUSE! ! ! !

I was there, it was great! I rather doubt they have the b*lls to put it on line. Dougie was a stuttering idiot. I hope they finally got the message that we do not believe the crap they spew. Walking out on him, chanting through the training center was like a scene out of "Norma Rae"!

BTW...three FA's from the East were there, when they identified themselves we gave them a standing ovation. If management has any dreams of dividing us, we did our part to show they will not be successful.

On the brief tv coverage I saw in CLT, management assured passengers flights were not affected as all were off duty. This management will not pay any attention until flights ARE affected (unfortunately)! Most of us love this company and our jobs as evidenced by all our concessions. But change must happen and it will take CHAOS.

You know for a fact she was sick? To my understanding she was meeting with Flores and others to bring her up to speed on the state of the MEC. Second, it would be inappropriate for her not to have been there as the CLT President Elect. I am willing to say she was out on AFA business. Grow up people.

Yeah...he left out all the good parts and had his editing team double up on the points he wanted drilled into our brain (two subjects are duplicate). Also, he used his management team as "seat fillers" to make the room look full because we emptied it!

Well, well, well. So the retaliation begins.
First, I'd like to know how you know if she called in sick?
Second, Is this a Flores/Crowley team smear since one person taking pictures was our MEC President's wife?
Hmmmm.
Third, if your allegation is true (I doubt it) there are many reasons a F/A can't fly, but that doesn't mean they can't walk, talk, poop or pee.
Fourth, grow up and get a life.

Airportman, How do you know that she called in sck? How would you be even privy to such private information? Isn't this information a violation of Hippa! Is this potentially a management scare of the new officer elect or is this a move by the same ole group that supports keeping in the lackluster group we have in office today. Isn't it a probablity that she has been being out on AFA business especially since she is the President Elect. Wow amazing what measures that Ann and Mike will go to in attempt to smear someones name. Go team Cathy!!! I love that Campbell soup!!!!!

It would have been colossally stupid for Cathy to call in sick and attend a union rally. If it is true, then I fear for our future, because if this is the intellectual prowess that our elected officials are sporting, we are screwed.

Secondly, what the hell?

Being in a union used to require a certain amount of discipline.

You use professional standards and the "but for the grace of God go I" standard.

It is NOT YOUR JOB to be ANY f/a's judge/ jury / supervisor. You have NO idea what that person is going through, or what their situation is, so mind your own business unless they are violating FARs! Go to professional standards and put them on notice and CALL IT A DAY.

If this exposure/ trash job is the work of ANY union official kiss all of your a**' goodbye, because we have no hope. Doesn't anybody have a healthy respect for Karma?

What a friggin waste.

I have to agree with you there. I understand why it becomes a talking point because this person is the new union leader in Charlotte. However, whoever started this newsflash would have to have access to someones files to know. As I understand it per your MEC president that information like this is no longer viewable in the company computer system. I was told if there are remarks it will only say something like not available. I would think that could mean a whole host of things including as suggested union business.

I think some of you are just so used to unethical practices with your union leadership you just automatically assume this must be the case here. I don't know. I think in this case I would be wondering why some of your union leaders were not at any of the rallies like Travelpro pointed out. I am sure a lot of people that would have liked to show up had to work. However, I would certainly think that union folks have a legitimate reason to be off for union business that day. Was Miss Austin there or was she busy flying a trip? I don't know the answer so my curiosity is as high as the next person.
