if they were smart they'd scrap this and sit down and have a heart to heart with our people ...

As far as shutting down the operation over the sick policy ... i don't feel that's something that we should do ... like i said , i think we will come out WAY ahead in court or arbitration , so i see no need for any sort of action that might make us look bad in court or arbitration ... we should walk in there pure as snow and say LOOK AT WHAT THEIR DOING TO US!!! .. and don't forget , it's going to be a LABOR FRIENDLY administration next year !

Unlike you, I won't respond to your paragraph only because the company listens. 10% remember 10% smarter than the thing ur dealing with.

freedom just how safe do you REALLY think your job is? remember you said that we all could have been replaced if this didnt go thru. Youre wrong on that, the airline would have had to come back with a better deal. so this POS contract comes at a price--ask those in the 11 cities how they feel about losing their livelyhoods. Ask those in the East how they felt when we lost our jobs, then ask those who transfer to keep mainline only to get screwed. Yeah It aint going to go so well as you want it to go. So that is the price. Man you better start talking to UNION REPS and stay away from the crappy sand castle

side note: calling out all leprechauns where have you been .

I have been busy. I had to build my GLOOM & DOOM shelter. Stock it up with canned goods, bottled water, and Army surplus supplies. Oh and buy a helmet to protect my noggin for when the sky actually does fall. Those acorns hurt you know. Lets see, I also had to bury my money around the yard in mason jars, draw a map to said jars, so I could dig them up when the sky rises again. Although, my jars are running low, do you think roabilly could spare a few. Of course I would have to drink the contents first. LOL  OTOH I am not worried about this new attendance policy. We have excellent UNION members handling the situation now. Not the company kiss-azzes that were canoli's cronies. I am confident that it will all work itself out in the wash. And to all of CLT. Vote to keep all of the canoli cronies hands out of union business, because they clearly have no clue what it means to be union, just company kiss-azzes. So if I were in CLT, B. Klein would get my vote, and should get yours.

O-man:

Top o the page!
Yer gettin' slow. :bleh:  :bleh:

Correction. I have been busy after reading freedums posts. Then refer to the above post.

your a funny little man..

I try. I may have to rent an auger, those holes are hard to dig.

Do you think ROABILLY could spare a few jars? Heck he might have done the same thing as I did. He probably had more fun though.

I'm thinking the ROA is a very very Frugal man.. I'm sure he might have a few empties laying around..

I hear he wears the same socks all week to save a dime on laundry detergent .

Is this a fair description of where the attendence policy stands?:

NH and MC met with AH and agreed that the policy needed some
reworking and would be postponed until there was more agreement.
Then two days later AH tells his troops that everything is on as
originally planned.

I can't believe this is totally accurate but if it is will those in the know
please elucidate. If this is true IMO this forces us no other possition
but to fight this with every legal tool at our command. In other
words once again I'm very angry. I know I said I wouldn't get
angry again but my blow up doll says I'm cute when I angry.

It really does feel like were being tested. I think that Big Al resents
the fact that a lot of us had so much disrespect for his contract.
Which reminds me I never gave full credit to those who crafted
that rag.

CONGRATULATIONS TO RANDY CANALE AND
AL HEMINWAY FOR BEING ABLE TO SUCK THE LIFE OUT OF THE
WEST LONG ENOUGH TO GET A CONTRACT FOR PENNIES ON THE
DOLLAR.

Actually although both deserve the credit, it appears that Big
Al has benifitted the most. Big Al, dont change a thing, and
again my hearty congratulations. And if your still around in 2012
we'll see you again. Also keep up the good work in trying to
force our new officers into a possition of impotance.

Thanks BF

I was just gonna post to inquire why such a delay at the printing press to get our contracts out to everyone... but it now appears obvious as to the delay! AH wanted to make sure the "amended" copy held language to coincide with this POS attendance policy going into effect. NOT COOL! F**K this policy! We didn't agree to it in negotiations and it is wrong to arbitrarily force-feed us this.

like any of you will have the balls to walk out on this job in todays economy

OK Freedumb..........I'm calling your comment out!!@#$@.................Lets see who has the Balls if the word comes down.........

IT'S ALL ABOUT PRINCIPLE..........

your calling my FICTIONAL comment out ? lol you mean from the paragraph that i made up about a possible alternative reality we could have been living in ?

ok ...

Well first off , while we all hate the sick policy , no one hates it enough to walk off the job , so you can take that empty hollow bluff off the table right now ... there's no one in management who would even believe that because even the workers wouldn't believe it .

now are people angry ? yes they are.... and are all the wrong ones angry ? yep .... while i don't believe that there would be any sick outs or walk outs ... i wouldn't put it past some of the employees to do a baggage meltdown Christmas again ..

as for my view on it all , i can wait for expedited arbitration in march , however i'm smart enough to know that many on the east coast and throughout the system can't wait , are not patient and aren't as forgiving of this company as i am ...

it was foolish of the company to push this new policy at this time of year .... people here in PHX are angry , people everywhere are angry ... oh well , what happens happens , we shall see . 😛h34r:

Your new name: FreeFiction

True confession of a FICTIONAL character.................... :jerry:

Fiction-
something feigned, invented, or imagined; a made-up story

but freefictional you sure dont seem too angry with that sick policy. and that policy is truly sick--in grave condition. That should have never been added but we all now know why we dont have those contract books and it sure as heck wouldnt surprise me if they tried a few other nasty dirty tricks as Uncle AL we all know will try to do

Rich:
I'm going to ask the same question I asked in the sick policy thread:
What shall fleet do? Please tell fleet what to do. Should fleet pretend this doesn't exist ?

I'm getting alittle tired of waiting on this sick
policy issue. We need to make our views clear.
AH wants to play the same games, well I'm waiting.
Rich you tell us what we need to do and we'll do it. Just that
simple
but DO NOT tell us to accept this. This violates
our agreements. We in PHL are waiting to hear from you.
This is testing the depth of our waters. We need to let
AH and company know the process of change is now
a 50/50 discussion and not so one sided.
