The American pilots were part of the creditors committee thereby free to pursue their own claim in bankruptcy court. Doug 'gave' them nothing they didn't already have.

What kind of payout did the other Us Airways employee groups get? Nothing. Could we have gotten more? Maybe. Show me specifically what was left at the table not some rainbow pot of gold - just because .....

Not that I'm a fan of our current leadership. I thought the guy was a loser well before he ran for office.

One more thing ( not directed at Hate ) the APA president resigned, not recalled, after the American MOU was voted down.

I lost all faith in this union when the pilots starting putting prior check airmen into power positions. Hummel was the last straw for me. Hummel didn't get you anything in this deal. He cost you about a hundred grand. The AA guys put this MOU in your pocket. The AA guys think Doug is going to make them the highest paid in the industry with a JCBA. Good luck with that pipe dream. This MOU will be here when you retire. Reed Richards and his buddies along with the Compass boys own this MOU. Every fervent supporter of Hummel owns this bankruptcy MOU. For the record I have not attended a union meeting since Hummel took office. I pay my dues and that is it.

Maybe that is why you are so uninformed and think you are owed an equity share. You lost that years ago when your reps passed on the better deal for what ultimately became LOE93.

Uniformed? Change of control language that was Iron Clad. This transaction is only an 18 Billion dollar deal to create the worlds largest airline. This was your only money shot! And you accepted $8700 for your change of control provision. That language in the MOU was the only language clearly written! Doug was genius. He creates the largest airline with the cheapest labor. Not bad!

Hummel did not "negotiate" the MOU, East and West pilots did. You are a financial fool if you think just because the APA guys were on the ball enough to get "something" out of their dying pension that YOU somehow deserve a share. Besides, they would not give money to anti-union toads like you, you don't even support the will of 3/4 of your colleagues, in fact you belittle them. Instead of being 3 out of 11, they want to give the West MORE voting power by making them a full 1/3 of the voting bloc. They also want to give the West Class a seat at the table in the dissolution of USAPA. Can you all believe this, letting the folks that have sued us for years have a say in the funding of our seniority battle after single carrier status!!?[/SIZE]

86% of our pilots ratified that agreement, almost the same that ratifed the MOU.  And you blame the Reps?  It all comes down to votes, not the process.   RR
