Gasp! What could be more horrendous indeed, than discharging some "attornies", much less committing such blatant blasphemy as to sue such "god"-like creatures? 😉 Btw; "you'se" fine eddicashun at alla' dem "rather exclusive private educational institutions" is, as usual, showing through your otherwise erudite and pithy prose.  As for: "Eastholes, next time you see an AMR pilot get on your knees and kiss his/her ass." Methinks I'll properly pass, but feel free to help yourself.... and impress them as much as you have us. Get over yourself lad. All present should be at least reasonably well-pleased by the day's events. 🙂

From Merriam Webster:
at·tor·ney noun \ə-ˈtər-nē\
plural at·tor·neys

Why yes. Glad you agree with the fence part!
When you spent part of your life living on a thoroughbred ranch, you learn how to build fences, kill snakes and drive a Ford 2000 by age 14.

Right Bob? Life on the farm....

I'm still trying to figure out why you have a Belarus. It's a long flight to Minsk to get parts.

Nevergiveup is about to have to "give it up"  LOL

Any of youse look at a NIC list lately???  Didn't think so... that head in the hole thing.  Well, let me just say this: every active west pilot can hold Group 2 captain.  Think about that (I know, a challenge for some of youse).

Every West pilot can hold Group 2 captain.
There are 250 west captains which can hold 330 captain
There are 750 west captains which can hold 767 captain

A 1999 hire on the west sits with 1985 hires on the east

Gliech um die ecke...

Pay back is going to be so wonderful!

At least youse guys are off LOA93!  (glass is half full kinda thing)

So, how are you east scabs doing today???  LOL

Nearly seven years with the scab union, no DOH and no contract.  Jeez you guys are idiots.  Truly the turds of the airline industry.  Now you are about to eat the Nic.

Yep, game over for you clowns... Thanks for voting in the Nic...

Don't forget USA Today, Door Jambs, Love affairs, stolen laptops, fired attornies, suing said attorney, Copyright infringement upon Mike Cleary the "owner" of USAPA, (don't tell the pickleballers, they were here love before scab cleary). On and On and On. Failure after embarassing failure.

Eastholes, next time you see an AMR pilot get on your knees and kiss his/her ass. They got you this MOU. If USAPA had their way, you'd be on LOA93 forever.
Wow, this crowd is something else. I don't think you can find a single east pilot that will mourn the passing of USAPA in this merger, not even the BPR members.

For the east guys this is simply another merger in a string of many. I have watched the board today and have seen various posts from west people like the few I quoted above and find myself wondering how screwed up these people must be. You were hired with a third rate dirt-bag also ran that never paid a decent wage(AWA)....merged with what was once a top paid but down on it's luck has been that paid a dirt bag wage(USAIR) and now through the grace of good fortune which none of us had any say in, we are merging with a large down on it's luck carrier (AA) so that we are now employed by the worlds largest airline with a nice fat pay raise. Yet your first instinct is to come on here with posts like the ones above? What a bunch of whack jobs!

I think I speak for all east guys on here, we could give two sh&ts what letterhead is on the union mailings, we could care less what the call sign is or what paintjob is on the outside of the airplane. It has been months since I have even heard the east west issue brought up in the cockpit, with this AA merger going through even if some court does "shove the nic up our six" as one westie put it...in the grand scheme of things it will not affect me in the slightest, certainly not after enduring watching my airline shrink from close to 500 airplanes to the pathetic size we are today even when you include the west operation.

For me I see it as a giant step in recovering the very nice pay rates that we once enjoyed at this airline. But I guess that may be the difference between what the east guys actually care about and what the west guys THINK the east cares about. For most on the west this is the first time they have been involved with anything that could be considered a career carrier. AWA could never be classified as that and USAIR could not after it's misfortunes at the turn of the century. All of us just got a reprieve today from the mess that was our three airlines, AWA,US,and AA have all been granted a second chance to finish off our careers at a decent place barring any management disasters.

Are there going to be differences in the upcoming integration? Of course, there always are. Nothing new to the east guys or the AA guys. The AWA folks are the only ones that seem to see this normal process as some kind of holy war.

For all those normal folks east, west and at AA cheers to all this evening. For the crowd out there that has let their work turn them into a bitter hate consumed mess....well try not to kick your dog or your spouse in your rage infested life! 🙂

Kudos to everything you say... accept that damn paint job.

P.S.  The new cockpit fight will be over who is going to be the pilot monitoring... just to enjoy operating the radio..

Now, now PI - he didn't say what YEAR did he?

KU, you are so full of crap.  You hate ALPA and now you claim you are no fan of USAPA.  GMAFB.  Your story changing (again)?  That "floating standard" thing again.
DOH is gold standard... (AAA/PDT)
Oh, no it's not... (AAA/Trump)
Oh wait, yes it is... (AAA/AWA)

When you clowns get a story that you will stick with, maybe you can make some progress with your pathetic, scab union.  Oh wait, usAPA is done!  LOL
6 years of the highest dues in the industry and complete control of the "BPR" and you clowns have nothing to show for it.  No contract, no DOH and still on LOA 93- until APA came along.  Pathetic.  Why are we (Spartans) anything but surprised???

AVL is beautiful this time of year...
