What's your fascination with alpa? You voted them off the island years ago yet you constantly quote and post alpa information. let it go, you've got your own wonder union.

The difference is that it was forced on the US Airways pilots, using the bottom of the barrel AWA contract as the target; while for the AWA pilots that is the very BEST they were ever able to achieve.Portly Dorman said:

As always: Thanks for the six plus years of hearty laughs, widdle "spartans". Reading any/all "spartan" tripe's always been akin to hearing the conversations/threats/cojolings of 5 year old girls playing with Barbie Dolls, enjoined in arguments over who gets to be the "Princess". 😉 Stand up or shut up....Period. "You'se" widdle babies/"spartans"/"wizards"/etc simply bore me to tears.

america west pilot flattens tire on mans car, when he was bending over fixing it, america west hero moved in and cold cocked him. I have heard of the warnings not to pick up a bar a soap in a shower, but a tire change? You west pilots, clever and gutsy but no way you could continue to afford the plastic surgery vice of your new mate.

That was a very poor example in properly portraying any "spartan" umm..."strength", and was entirely disrespectful to 5 year old girls everywhere....

An America West Airlines pilot is undergoing a 72-hour psychological test after engaging in unruly behaviour on board an America West Airlines flight from Phoenix to Austin, Texas.
The 13-year employee of the carrier apparently started `yelling and screaming and throwing things` according to one of the arresting police officers, who also indicated that the commotion was so loud that the whole aircraft could hear the man.
The incident occurred about ten minutes into the flight and the man was apparently still ranting when he was escorted off the aircraft, which had been diverted to Tucson International Airport.
A spokesperson for America West Airlines has said that it is unclear what caused the outburst, and indicated that a decision about the pilot`s work status would be made after the psychological testing according to Reuters."
