Where is Fodase?

He had a repetitive and annoying compulsion to announce the apparitions he saw too, but his visions seemed to be limited to circus personnel.

Be kind here Phoenix. Post-Traumatic-Childhood-Movie-"war"/"horror"-Syndrome may possibly have seriously and permanently damaged the poor little "spartan" well beyond the reaches of therapy.

I will continue for only a very few days to reference internal union politics, that will end for me next Monday. By the end of the month I will exit this forum forever. Thanks for taking the time to actually read our agreement. The fact you are in a small minority of our pilots to do so is commended. Overall a really disconnected and actually underserving group of pilots. The fact our own elected reps have not done so is pitiful.

You're in there within the mud-wrestling RR....Well... For whatever it's worth?...Just one line bum's respectful request that you keep doing your best Bro. Any/All philosophical differences aside: I figure you for one that does try to do so sir....and it ain't over yet.

Of course, the policy points out that the double accommodations will only be used in exceptional cases.

Kind of like the POTA.

Indeed..."exceptional cases"...much akin to the sun really rising on a given day! Who'd ever imagine such a thing could happen!? 😉 Don't even get me started sir! I futiley argued against this insanely vague MOU, and the incredible abuses that will naturally follow from the utter LACK of concrete language prohibiting them!

Uh, oh....  Retro Pay agreement changed after ratification.

When we voted on the MOU the retro pay was calculated by each pilot's pay rate immediately prior to the effective date and multiplied by the number of eligible hours  (i.e. if you got a pay rate increase before the POR effective date you would have that rate multiplied by the total hours since Feb 8th.....  But after the MOU vote the company clarified with a letter and asked for a signature from the union to indicate their agreement... You can read for yourself who signed it.  They complicated the calculation, but suffice it to say their change benefits them instead of the pilots.  I know. Big surprise.  This is a very complicated accounting calculation but have no fear the company has already resolved the issue.
"...suffice it to say their change benefits them instead of the pilots.  I know. Big surprise." Indeed. Whatta' truly huge surprise! And so it begins already.....

Fair enough. I'll just end by saying, I for one don't know with any degree of exactitude what is and is not in the MOU.

But...I'm guessing you voted FOR it?...Well Golly Gosh!....Just an untimely after thought...BUT...Did ANY of you mindless SUCKERS actually bother to READ the damn thing before happily voting in favor of it!? It was written in sufficently vague and nebulous terms so's to have concerned even a "thinking" garden snail! Sigh!..Words just fail me here....

I must excuse any 97-98% in favor "spartans" here, and complete buffoons of Chip's circle of complete fools as well...since a "thinking" garden snail's far too generous a comparison.

It is what it now is Gentlemen and Ladies. Let's hope for the best that any/all Reps can manage in the future to mitigate the mess, and enjoy the better portions the best we can.

Hard lessons coming your way scab.

Sigh! Cue the air raid sirens announcing the usual night time SCUDS and get your people into the bunkers ASAP Gentlemen! The awesome and deadly "spartans" are coming! 🙂 I'm serious here! They might be even bringing, Gasp!...LAWYERS! 😉

Perhaps not the finest in attempted "humor" considering those tragically lost in such attacks, and not the least disrespect meant, but seriously..."Hard lessons" from some pissant, lawyer-loving, pathetic little AWA "spartan"? Spare us all.

GROW UP Res....Just a kindly suggestion.

Sorry... I just don't think this material is suitable nor proper for discussion here. Completely beneath the supposed caliber of professionals here.

One could only wish. The whole notion of "professional pilot" has been done no favors from these previously unimagainable and unbelievably infantile fools. I leave you "lords and ladies" to "each new battlefield"..."Your Grace", "valor" drenched and  battle tested "knights", who've "fought many battles"..."your cities on planet usapia", etc...not to mention "larry potta"..."WESTERFELD!!!"/whatever. I first viewed such nonsense in at least some small degree of honest and actual shock.. Seriously; never in my entire life did I even EVER have vague nightmares of such infantile idiots/"fellow"...umm.."pilots" as even being a conceivable possibility. I'd initially naive notions that the fellows of such fools would certainly censure them and such sickness would cease. I'd never previously even IMAGINED such pwecious widdle mommies' boys even being possible as impersonators of "Aviators". Seriously; did YOU ever even imagine such to be possible?...Among the ranks of "professional pilots" ANYWHERE? I honestly did NOT, and this whole experience has been a most initially disconcerting, but afterwards, very interesting clinical study..and one just hasta' love the truly "professional" "dire wolf" T-shirt of the likes of "Cap'n Aux" and his equally infantile and hopelessly incurable, fellow village idiots/"professional"...umm..."pilots"...and I suppose they do make for cute-aw-how-wewy-pwecious-widdle wizards. 🙂

Although I voted against it over the vagueness and the loss of protections for virtually no guaranteed returns, it seems that none of us thought to read the AA policy manual aimed (I use that word intentionally) at their pilots.  I have a feeling that we are really in for a continued rude awakening as the follow-on bulletins to 19-13 begin to come our way.  Why have the AA pilots endured this stuff for decades?  And why do I find their policies so onerous now?  Boiled frog syndrome.

Pretty much Brother. For what precious little, cold comfort it affords...well...we DID actually take the time to READ at least the verbage, and thus specifically (or NOT) expressed content of the MOU, and then, very properly vote against it. We're ancients/elders and fairly soon to be gone, so lets' just hope our younger fellows didn't Fk themselves too far into the ground with this. You and I are already of an age to fully know how to take life's little "jokes"......in however bad a taste they're ever offered. 😉

I vote when we're finally done with this, we hit Bob up for a "no-notice-hospitality-check". We naturally bring all appropriate food and drink, and only insist on piloting his "commie" tractor for at least 100 yards..OK...just kidding on the "no-notice"...we ain't kids anymore. 🙂

Free commie tractor driving lessons for old retired pilots! All lessons must be taken before the libations!

You would have thought that after all these years vague language is not a good thing. Just read into any section the worst way the company will interpret the language and that is the way it will go down. I still have my doubts about the survival of the non-qualified funds (Davey dollars). I guess I'll know in Jan.Sad to say I don't think this was even discussed. It was just assumed it was part of the "untouchable" retirement. Good luck to all.

Ah, then you would be guessing wrong grasshopper. I also indicated as much more than once on these boards.

And yes, although you resort often to them and in great quantity, words once again have failed you.

I hope it doesn't turn out this way, but I suspect they will claim that the Davey Dollars are part of all the agreements that get nuillified on Monday with the signing of the POR.

I wonder what else we agreed to?
