I don't get real wrapped up in union politics, but If this recall ever goes out to the membership, look for it's originators to get *****-slapped. Really a stupid thing to do right now, when they should be working together to improve/protect our position in this merger.

Reps better get out there and listen to their members. They're going to be embarrassed if they don't.

I'm pretty pissed just hearing about this sort of thing right now. What a bunch of imbeciles..

The questionable timing concerns me as well. Hummel's never much impressed me and I'd be happy to see him gone, but I'll gladly wait to see what the most compelling arguments for or against are, before getting too stirred up though. If a sufficiency of snakes have been found in the woodpile...I want to hear the WHOLE story from BOTH sides prior to us voting....As in: WTF's the actual agenda on both sides here?...Period!

Maybe you should call the APA hotline?  It may not work out like your PSA integration. Ask your air cal buddies how the apa handled them.  You have to pick a side.

I want to hear things from OUR people (both sides), not theirs/the APA, but all suggestions for information and intell enhancement are appreciated, seriously. Vague BS from any of us is entirely inappropriate at this point methinks.

Your were a former psa pilot. You were given date of hire.  You have to pick a side tonight.

I'm fine with having long-ago, picked a side. What I've never been able to tolerate's a buncha' political infighting without apparent purpose. I'd certainly like to see Hummel gone, but merely ask as to what's the "plan"? Why are the smarmy widdle "spartans" nestling in with this/etc? How'd Bradford become some sacrificial lamb in the process? I think any/all questions are both reasonable and necessary.

If that's the true case = Side's picked. I ain't been, nor now, or will ever be at all interested in selling out our "young" here! I'd just like more info on WTF's been/is going on?

goodnight. You got yours. Your psa airline was pos,  You got your doh by squating on a toilet during a merger, now you want to think about it.

A few points. West pilots are dropping their DCO in large numbers and losing their MIGS status. Therefore, the PHX contingent is rapidly shrinking and won't be as big a factor as in the last officer election.

Hummel's term does not expire until April 2015 and since that is more than 12 months a new election must be held. Bradford will not be able to assume the duties of president till the end of the term, only untll a new president is voted into office.

I'm confident that Bradford will weather the recall. I don't know if he is eligible to run for the vacant president position, since that would vacate the VP position. Perhaps someone else knows.

Hummel needs to decide if he wants to remain in office. If he does then a few simple concessions to the BPR will go a long way to surviving the recall effort. Allow BPR input on some committees, such as the NAC. Pledge to keep the BPR better informed of his activities with the company and external agencies, ahead of time. These are reasonable concessions. But if he refuses then I don't think he will survive the recall.

Unlike the APA recalling their president last year, this union is about to close down, it is dusk for USAPA. MOU is done, last act or two in court, seniority integration with APA and that's about it. Litigation is on autopilot (attorneys have their strategy going forward). That leaves the Merger Committee as the head of the spear. If the BPR has full faith in the committee (which they say they do) then prove it by not trying to micro manage the committee.

The crew meals are coming back. I don't want APA to eat my lunch.

If the west reps are in favor of a recall, that alone is reason for me to oppose it.
I agree with algflyr and Mr Brasky.
I'm definitely NOT in favor of a recall.

Ah! "Cap'n Aux" 😉 A more clinically perfect "poster child" for Arrested Development could generally, only be found amongst some Hollyweird people, and the sad progeny of indulgently wealthy (and without ANY semblance of proper parenting) examples = Paris Hilton/etc. That doesn't make the youngster anything inherently "evil", by any means....Just completely clueless. One should assume in such cases, the wholesale lack of any external/real world, or personally severe, self-testing throughout life produced results of that order. IE: It's very easy to be a "spartan"/"knight"/'dire wolf"/etc, ONLY if if one never exits Fantasyland.....Or  perhaps even Peter Pan, again, only if safely nestled within Wonderland's confines. Outside of that?...The unknown element of possibly losing a father at a young age could well play in, in some cases. Enough two-bit "Dr. Phil" BS without adequate data. A lot of circumstantial combinations sometimes cause a child to "freeze" at some "safe" point in personal development, and I can't presume to really speak for whatever happened to that poor fellow, purely based on Facebook nonsense/infantile videos/'spartan"/"knights"/etc fantasies.

I think he's still stuffing his face with Wonka Bars hoping to find the Golden Ticket.

Actually, I think all the westicles are doing that.  Or, maybe they're just giving all the Wonka Bars to Marty.

You've just blatantly overstepped your civil boundaries with that, and while passion's admirable; none should see any need for thwarting conversation on this. Quite the contrary, I'd think. I want Hummel gone. On that pont?...I'd like nothing more than universally compelling arguments in favor to come forth. I'm just asking WTF's the "plan" and generally, WTF is actually going on here? If you've an obvious point to make that could be expressed here; I'm all ears, seriously. This whole "secret squirrel" BS's grown far past tireseome to me from ANY who offer it! I'm merely a line guy, and not much respectfull of any "inner circle" that won't plainly speak their minds....although points given you for no hesitation to clearly and directly insult. 😉
