Looks like the 320's are being changed to 150 total cap. 12F and 138Y if we can get more people on an a/c and make $$$ lets do it. How is it embarrassing? It's just a seat. I’m more embarrassed by the a/c being dirty and smelling like a toilet.

The ex TZ 757s for transatlantic flights will not be reconfigured for this summer's flying. However there are plans to configure them with a premium cabin. It could be envoy or regular domestic first. What I have heard is that envoy service will happen next year. I don't know how many seats there will be. US F8 or HP F14, or perhaps if they put in envoy seats something in between. There are currently no envoy seats on a US 757 so no basis for comparison.

Continental has 16 business first seats though.

US Airways also recently announced the acquisition of three 757's formerly operated by grounded French carrier Air Horizons.

The first of the ex-ATA 757s, N642UW is fresh out of the paint shop, the second N643UW is the shop currently and the third N644UW will be next.

Nice! good looking bird there...

Agreed this plane looks good and cant wait to see it in service, But the plane looks like it's beeen stored at a scrapyard! 😀

Usually, a livery will grow on me. But.... maybe this one has, except the typeface (which I used to like) just doesn't work on this scheme. It's too small. And, of course, I recommend changing the logo.

I just want to be clear, we are getting 3 more 757s from Air Horizon in addition to the 3 ATA 757? Sorry about the last post, I hit the wrong button and duplicated the 757 pics. Mike

Then we should probably follow that example and step it up a notch. I doubt we'd lose that many passengers to CO at EWR because we don't offer Business Class on a few select routes, but I feel it is very important to maintain a consistent product on our 'highly lucrative' transatlantic markets. We also have to comply with Star Alliance standards, as well.

they will be configured with 8 premium seats in first class compatible with the domestic f/c seats. the reason for this is becuase they had no time to install the envoy seats and couldn't find business class style seats fast enough to install. it was either that or not begin the european service at all. the a/c will be configured with business class seats for the next season. so i guess we are just gonna have to wait. hey american takes the 757 to man england all coach. so at least we will still have f/c seats . these flt the a/c are being used for are not that long anyway. it's like going to the west coast from phl.

I haven't heard about the addition 3 757s. I thought the three ETOPs birds were from Air Horizon but previously belonged to ATA.
