JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Considering that Fleet is waiting for Maintenance to continue negotiations it doesn't seem far-fetched that they could have parameters of what the entire deal looks like.

If Fleet continues to wait for Maintenance then we have a long haul yet to go.

They still think they will be done by end of this month. After weez was so steadily standing with GP on his statements that it will be done by end of month/year, and constantly arguing with me about it as well, he will see that it will not be done by end of month or year. Mechanics talks cannot get done that quickly, period. Unless they just roll over on the mechanics and agree to everything the co. wants and throws out another contract that will overwhelmingly favor the fleet boys yet again, typical of the TWU.

Remains to be seen. I have always contended that when the company says it will be an ILC, do they expect things like scope to be in line with what the other carriers have?

That's correct and the video that predicted the negotiating ending this month also made your point by stating that timeline was possible if LAA fulfilled their promise. That allows a prediction and also a convenient target to point towards.

Looks like Sito is pulling out all of the stops screwing everyone, so you might be right. He just supported and agreed to a new deal with our Railway Division which is a complete disaster, raising health care x 2 and sometimes x 3. The RR peeps deserve better, but whatever the case, Sito just infuriated them and my phone has been blowing up. Maybe you will have some luck and Sito will toss the DL141 AGC's under the bus as he claims another contract hoping, with a last ditch effort, that he will somehow be able to be voted back in. Not happening! I'm seriously going to destroy him in the Grand Lodge election. I honestly cant believe how the membership finally is wanting to build a better union. Stay tuned Weez! But although Lehive will make the cut, I'm not sure your boy Stassi will. He has never done anything ever. 700, I like him. We almost never agree but he is a 24/7 guy. He has other things going on but I certainly will be able to use him on Delta if he was available. We will get the delta stews and Boeing SC within 12 months after the corruption and crap all gets cleaned out.
January is going to be fun! The only negative would be if Sito brings out his TA here and whacks LUS health care and most part time restrictions. As negative as it would be, I think the TWU would vote it in, even if it coughs up part time restrictions. Sad.

As for the Associaiton, LUS fleet will finally have its own negotiator in there. Charlie Brown. And with any small bit of luck, Klemm will also get booted. It's absolutely asinine that LUS fleet doesn't have one damn fleet service in executive talks. Last time MX negotiated for us, we got F'cked in 1998. MX don't care as much about fleet as you say. Yes. I agree. I too expect some scope language to be exchanged for the ILC if it is even an ILC to be considered, Metal, I still do not believe it will be a true ILC for you guys to consider, but we will see I guess.

The question is, does the LAA fulfilled promise include scope concessions once again? It will not be an ILC if the scope gets chopped, it will be a concession. But I see we are on the same page. I still hope you guys get all the previous concessions restored in your new contract...
