I agree with you. They should have been assigned new numbers. Will be interesting to see how many will actually start a trip and will mislead the other f/a's to thinking that they are more senior than they actually are.

Well, one has already tried to get the company to renage on the agreement and get his old seniority number back. Watch Crew News Session in CLT 01/11.

Oh yeah been there. I was talking about Reserve one day to a shuttle girl and she snapped at me about not knowing anything about it and she didn't care. I looked at her and said; that's interesting since you would be on it had you not won the Trump Airline Senority Lotto. She huffed off. I looked around and said well- you know we were all thinking it. She won it fair and square but really.....senority LOTTO TICKET.

No Ann, I dont believe anyone wants anyone in office who LIES. If thats the case I guess we would have to start with a clean slate just like they plan on doing in PHL. As long as we are talking about lies, why do you think Ann wanted to find a position in the MEC for the flight attendant who wrote the letter to the National AFA office in an attempt to vindicate Ann from any wrongdoing during the recent Election. Still want to talk about lies?? I bet not. The fact is we know what Ann cant do and what she has failed to do. We also know a vote for Ann is a vote for Flores. She is so afraid of him she will bow down to his every whim. She has become such a weak leader because she is afraid to speak out or write out anything in disagreement with the MEC Pres. She has lost touch with her flight attendants (other than the 200 friends who vote for her time and time again. There are so many of those who have decided its time for a change. Only time will tell whether the soup lady will be the answer but we all know the current LEC Pres is not the person who will bring the needed change to CLT. Have to agree with the Beachboy ....very juvenile.

Don't be sorry. It is simply time for change. Nothing to be sorry about; we've known it for a while now. USAir flight attendants deserve better. Whether they demand it, or hang with the "status quo", remains to be seen.

I will just clarify your message a little. Nobody wants a lier in ANY AFA related capacity! I am sure you did not mean it that way, but it sounds like the only concern is that you don't want someone in office that gets caught lying because the facts are too easily checked. If they lie when the facts can't be had easily then that is OK. Not implying that is what you meant just that is what it sounds like so I thought I would make that correction.

I believe this is one of the main reasons that Mr. Flores does not release much info unless it is very highly censored and under his control at all times. Hard to research the facts based on nothing. Anyway, hope you guys get that mess straitened out in Charlotte so you can focus on all the other messes.

I believe our members are ready for a change. They realize this is not the time to be voting for Ms. Congeniality and her court. This is becoming our largest base and we need more than garage sales and pep rallies to strengthen our union here. If we elect Ann it is the same as bringing back Flores as the local president . Not seeing much in the way of updates from the negotiating committee since Flores is busy with elections. He has 3 important elections he needs to try to control so dont look for any progress in the way of negotiations. Who is Mikes trifecta going to be? Will he back the guide dog in washington who has kept him in office? Looks like BM in Philly is Mikes horse in that race and AC here in Charlotte? Stay tuned. Just handicapping the program here. I'm Charlotte based now and most everyone I run into is voting for Cathy. When I was in Philly I remember Brian Morgan. I just don't see him as a force for change, he seems a lackey for Flores and the bunch in office now. I also have emails where he said he didn't think anything was wrong with the reserve system Austin/Flores have negotiated so far. I think that will come back to put major breaks on his goal of being AFA LEC President. The same people being recalled in Philly seem to have no shame in their game of running for election again. AFA is running scared because we are taking our union back.

Who cares who flybynight is! I want an answer to my question. Come on Flybynight lets pony up... what has Ann done in her years of AFA service to make a mark. Anything to better our lives to do anything other than suck up a position and play office manager? Being a union rep doesn't mean you were elected to play an office manager or accountant. You answer a phone or return a call? Great that's your standard JOB. Ann gossips, makes up flat out lies on folks she doesn't like and acts like a 3rd grade school girl. She was miss cute back in 1989 but really she is a little game playing joke. She promises votes on the MEC only to take a 1 hour bathroom break during the vote. She elects a person too AFA National that she was told not to vote for by the majority of her members. She screams at people in the crew room like a wild woman with no professionalism. The list can go on and on.

Bottom line folks Ann is scared. She played her AFA cards too close to Flores even though she HATES the man. A vote for Ann is a vote for Mike and Carol and the same #### the company has offered you so far. If you are that stupid you deserve it. And that, is the bottom line.
