necigrad and rogue,
This is right out of the TA. Our hands are tied to some degree because certain things were agreed to in negotiations. However, I will still make sure to the best of my ability that everything is done fair within our boundaries.

Pat, it doens't say when that information is applies. Demand the changes be made and THEN look at what the system says. If they make the changes before the senority list is published then it's within the scope of the TA. With my suggestion we're not looking to gut them out of senority, just adjust it to only what they've worked as FS.

The issue of seniority integration during negotiations fell on deaf ears both on this forum and within the negotiation committee. Joe Dirt brought up the issue so many times and the issue kept dying because it was labeled as east vs. west. The tower/clp seniority integration was part of that because there were three distinct groups that were being integrated in three different ways. Mary and Ron would not move on this during negotiations as MF from CLT attempted to deal with the issue. A huge percentage of CLT fleet signed a petition stating that they wanted the seniority issue moved upon. Canale didn't want to hear about. He and the Grand Lodge reps were very ambiguous about the integration process and stated that the integration committee that P REZ was part of had already decided how seniority integration would be accomplished.
PHL and CLT were not represented within this committee so the two most outspoken Hubs were kicked to the curb. No one here wanted to debate this issue. The Agreement has past been signed. I'm sorry to say that there are few to no options on changing the issue unless we again merge with another airline. It is what it is.

Ok then , why is the union raising our dues ? They had better have one hell of a reason to raise union dues … one of the guys on here made a very important point about this recession …. Now is NOT the time to raise our dues … in fact I’d much prefer that our leadership structure take pay cuts before we come out of pocket .
