Friend,
It all comes with maturity.
One day you will stand in the shoes of others, Fatherhood will change you.
The point I'm trying to make is ......................... If the company would leave the work
rules alone, stop pixxxng everyone off, morale would go up and
along with that also production.
I've worked for others so they could be with family also, I'm not on sided.
But the bottom line is, don't change the rules in the middle of the game.
I've also seen the CEO and other corporate officers out working with the troops
on Christmas day at different stations ( driving tugs and loadiong bags).
That's showing respect to the work force, but you won't get that from the leaders
we have now.
The issue is that you have a contract and that your company bypassed the negotiations table to violate your contract. That's your unions stance. This has nothing to do with you spending time at home or Necigrad's own world.

Necigrad is standing with the company and unfairly laying blame to his brothers and sisters.

wonder how all of those folks who voted yes will feel when their cities will be outsourced come 2011 no thanks to the stinking contract. I still believe to this day that they should have held out because the company would have to had a better offer than the crap wwe got now

I believe there were four west stations that did not have any mainline
flights. Does any body know if these will be gone in January. And
how many jobs is that?

Also in the case of a merger could the company close down a station
and shift the flights over to the other airline in the merger befor the
merger actually happened. What if they did that and retained US
Mgt during that period?

Thanks BF.

PS I went on with a big rant here about our contract but I erased
it. I'm tired of being angry. After all were in this together.

your absolutely correct. We had the company and uncle AL over a barrel . but our company leadership

we had representing us . sold us out . and pitted the west against the east . even though they had the most

to lose (in stations being thrown under the bus) for a few pieces of silver. I know the company would have

come back they had no choice or they would have walked away after the first rejection. WE in fleet blew

a golden opportunity. and for freedom I don't want to hear about the economy and the collapse of the world

cause those were different times.

robbed welcome back to dysfunction junction over hear a mainline .. I'm sure its much better then express

. and for freedom I don't want to hear about the economy and the collapse of the world

i'm too lazy to go back into the old threads and quote myself o man , but back then i said something akin to this " if we don't vote this in we will be stuck until the contract expires DEC 2009! by that time there will probably be lines of people stretching around the block to take our jobs! and we will have no leverage " and then i went on and on ranting about how the economy was going to get worse and we needed to vote this in , and all of you dismissed me ...

looking back from today , it's easy to see why i was so worked up about the future .... however i did get one thing wrong , we will not be here on DEC 31st 2009 .... so don't feel TOO bad that we voted this contract in ..

Your right about one thing .. YOU might not be here in dec 31 2009 but I have no doubt I WILL BE..

the sooner your gone the better this world will be .

obviously you KNOW NOTHING ABOUT NEGOTIATIONS. RUN scared little boy and enjoy your pieces of silver

NOW cause they might not be around for very long . and the chances of you ever seeing top out scale is

very remote. go back to the water cooler and spin your freedom doom topic and ONCE again leave the UNION

topics to the true UNIONIST

you call yourself a union man ?

If we had listened to you , as we did with the COC the FIRST time ,we would be without a contract to this day ... YOU my friend were pushing for the date of DEC 31 2009 because that would have been the time we would have been allowed to strike ... it's not EVEN 2009 yet and if we were today without a contract we would be looking at almost NO improvements ...(due to the economic environment )

if you were a better union man , you'd look at the membership as a whole and fight for the collective interests .... and one of thing things you SHOULD be fighting for now , is to open eyes ....

Our economy is in SERIOUS SERIOUS trouble , i said it long ago , and i'm saying it again now .. the best thing that we can do right now as union brothers and sisters is make sure that our people are mentally prepared for the VERY hard times ahead !

or we could continue to do things your way .. sitting on the floor with our fingers in our ears with our eyes closed humming saying "this isn't happening , this isn't happening . "

it is happening .....

You have no Idea what ur talking about. All I see you doing is proclaiming that we are in for a fall. I disagree. This country will take care of itself. I don't dispute the Low we are in right now but Boeing struck and got a 4% raise in this economy!!!!
You don't have the gonards to do the same and for that you'll keep preaching to the wrong choir. Our day will come and you just happen to be along for the ride so enjoy the fruits of the unionist that take you there......Whether you like it or not!@#$@!

I am tired of reading your doom and gloom post. You have no idea what you are talking about and have no business in the airline industry. You are an insult to every true unionist in this country. Go back to the water cooler where you belong and stay out of the IAM thread.

i may not be old enough to have experienced a recession as an adult , but i DO know for a fact that NONE of us are old enough to have been through a depression before ...

it falls on me to prepare you and wake you up so that you can take steps to prepare yourselves and your families for what's coming ..

i was mocked for only reading CNN money for my economic news , i've since expanded my horizons to the wall street journal , bloomberg.com and on certain days i even read the financial times ... while other unions may have struck and gotten raises such as the steal workers , they are now faced with job cuts ... and you have forgotten that we are unskilled labor .. Boeing will also in time face job cuts .. futhermore , our time horizon to strike dec 31st 2009 would have put us in the midist of the storm ...

today the us government announced a new plan that will cost almost 800 billion dollars .. what can i say about that , what can any of us say about that ? if you want to fight me and make me look foolish , then you need to start reading the news instead of just absorbing what the talking heads say on the TV ... please PROVE me wrong , make me look silly for running around screaming doom .. for that your going to have to put down the sports paper and pick up the business paper ..

as each day passes more people come to think as i do .........

you're really not in a fight dude. . Don't infatuate yourself. Quit will your behind.

"Sooner or later the monkeys swinging from trees, yelping and screamming in the jungle miss a branch and fall to earth and are eaten like everything else" .................... Give it a rest already.....Jerry

It will be a cold day in h*ll before I need some wet behind the ears kid try and tell me how to safe guard mine or my families future. If you are an example of the youth of today this country is indeed in trouble and I don't mean financially.

We don't need to try and make you look foolish because you do a fine job of that yourself. Spout on Chicken Little for the sky is indeed falling.

i will do my duty to the end ...

part of that is making sure your informed ... you are not ... i will continue to keep you aware ....
