Hey, come on now o-man, I'm gonna have to put my boots back on. It's getting way too deep in here. There was no financial strain on Delaney, he received and is still receiving full pay. The only difference is he's not working. As far as Laura Stone, she had no district paying job to leave. Same job, same pay for her. I believe the only hardships were on those campaigning as they more than likely had to burn vacation days to go visiting other cities.

It's amazing how bad Randy Canale was. A labor guy who just does a 'half arse' job doesn't get voted out but a Labor guy who just pisses off everyone and is worhtless sure finds a way to lose a $140,,000 job.

I can't remember another time when a labor guy got fired by his own members. I wish Randy the best and that he may reflect on the memberships decision and apply it to his future thinkings.

Also, I'm sure the IAM INTL may be a bit concerned because the New Direction team isn't made up of the 'usual suspects' but rather a group of guys that better fit the mold of the 'dirty dozen'. Altar boys they are not.

OTOH, I think the IAM INTL will be pleasantly surprised when they find out that the membership and the New Direction isn't throwing out the IAM with Randy, but rather throwing out randy and keeping the shell.

For the remaining dozen small stations, please go out and vote for the New Direction to show your support and solidarity for the New Direction and your resolve against corporate greed.

Also, here's a thought. Speaking for myself, I'm tired of all this CEO Bonus bullcrap. Any future negotiations should tie in corporate officer pay/stock to some sort of 'me too' or some type of contract wage/benefit trigger.

It's gotten out of hand and the unions need to do more than just 'run their mouths' with love letters to the press. Canale was good for that. After giving concessions, Tilton decided to give UA stockholders $250 million. The unions didn't make anything accountable in their contracts so that all Canale could do after inking another Canale concession was to basically write a goofy love letter telling Tilton that he should be fair.

You don't understand, and it's ok, the membership has overwhelmingly decided. US Airways, United, and Hawaiian members have chosen to go in a new direction. If the International allows you to disenfranchise the membership by throwing away that many votes, you will drive away membership forever! Our friends at Delta are watching what the District and the International are doing with this election. They may say "no thank you" and choose someone else.

The term smear campaign does not apply in this situation. Facts are facts and the membership is well aware of the facts. Therefore as a collective group we (the membership) have decided that we have had enough of the so called leadership of this union. You need to accept the decision we have made and move forward.
