Your company is not a stand alone carrier and needed United airlines. Now there are reports about liquidation later this year. I think fleet service needs Randy Canale more now than ever. Things will get difficult for US AIRWAYS and they will have to demonstrate that they can achieve concessions before an investor will invest. Delaney is more of a hard liner and it may be difficult for him to open up your contract for additional concessions. Such a position may risk liquidation.

Just a few comments on PHX. The low turnout shows you how we think. A) We got paid, so nobody cares, hence the low turn-out B) The one's that DID care voted against Canale... Kind of reinforces what I said about PHX being sick of the IAM leadership for being so apathetic to our cause.

what your low turnout also shows us on the east is just how much RR is in it for HIMSELF, even though he is unopposed

You would have thought he would have tried to get support out to vote for the rest of his ticket. Just shows his Character

hopefully Phillipine Airlines will need someone to neg there contract soon and RR won't be in the mix of the New Direction.

One thing our TEAM doesn't need is someone thats ALL about ME..Those are the kind of people we are getting rid of .

Is it , I don’t know any of those running … I don’t recall the ND08 coming around to our station to campaign , while we did see RC , and he seemed OK to me … why should I truly get involved in your political struggle .. my mind set along with a lot of others was to let the more knowable decide THIS vote .

Also like I said , it didn’t matter to me … if RC were to win that’s FINE with me , and if RD wins that’s ALSO fine with me … I do not care who wins the election ..

Great post Oman.
Canale never gave a rip about CLT and only in the last 6 months did CLT even get one AGC. Hopefully, CLT will drive that stake right into the heart of Team2008 as CLT remembers the statement, "CLT Doesn't matter".
OTOH, the New Direction recognized our CLT members and resolved to get two CLT members to be on our team.

If CLT gets 774 voters then this is over and we will be experiencing 'Christmas in October". I know the CLT members have shown great solidarity with great percentages going to the local to vote a bunch of times over the past 6 months. Let me just say that I think this vote will be the most important one yet.

Remember, the 4 year AGC's still need your vote as they are not as comfortable up front as Delaney.

I put the over/under at 500-400. I've heard the talk, now let's see if CLT can walk the walk. If so then I'd gladly contribute 'dearly' to the pizza party. I know CLT put out over 800 on several votes this year but I heard the weather is like 100 degrees so I'm thinking 400-500.

Easy 150 more. that's definetly a plus. And the added bonus is having support from our PHL brothers coming

in for the historic event. I'm trying to get a fireworks permit so that we can Shoot em off after the numbers come in .
