Chill,
"It's not the fact that management is trying to be sticklers now that upsets me, its the manner they are doing it in. They are threatening our JOBS over this."

chill,
WHERE'S THE BELOVED RR ON ALL THIS or ANY OTHER UNION STEWARD. First and for most YOU work in safe manner
and if management doesn't understand that . THEN have them put it in WRITING that THEY will be held responsible if you
get in an accident or get a speeding ticket from the city . THAT should back them down.

sidenote: FREEDOM before you get on your soap box about what a great guy RR is and YADA YADA YADA . save it no one cares what
you think . Your creditability as long since been lost.

They aren't advocating that we do anything to put ourselves in danger, or cutting corners, but I agree, if we are under fire on the 15 minute rule, and someone gets hurt, or caught in a baggage belt, then they could get sued, and we could get hurt. Good point.

Our union guys have nothing to say about anything. There is no chatter on company policies or current events. It's every man for himself.

Come talk to me and I'll explain what you should or shouldn't do. When it comes to contractual changes the company is very slow to act but can be hurried along.

Respectfully,

P. REZ

Well, actually all I have to do is look at the bagtag and make sure that local bags go up the appropriate belt in a timely matter. I'm capable of that, and everyone else is. But lets face it, we all have an off day.

And I don't want to be held accountable for a bag or 2 here and there accidentally going up the belt because some moron is compulsively screwing up. They can be real Nazis, and NOBODY can argue that they can be crooked at times.

If I hear of anyone being treated unfairly, Ill report it.

Realistically! None of any other group ever aquainted with Canale knows why your Group ND TEAM see' him so Dastardly! Somehow after all this campaigning You have not reached the other side.

Show us the reasons Canale should not be our choice against your situations. So far there is a weak argument for the Rich Delaney and party. Thanks. Just asking. It's only political.

Asking anyone on this board with over 10 years of seniority that has experienced (cough, cough) leadership under Randy Canale would help you in your questions. I am confused why you express these concerns at this point. Your time has already passed in that LAS and PHX has already voted and expressed endorsement of the ND08 team. Where were you?

Safety is job number one. If anyone in management is pushing you to work unsafe, document
it. Also call the district safety guy, a dude by the name of lupinachi. He came to a station
I previously worked at and ripped the station manager really bad. For the guy's out west,
In your new CBA, the one you guy's voted for........... it states if you are off the job for more
than three years you will be deemed resigned from the company and that includes OJI.
I had a buddy whom the company doctor would not clear to return to work and lost 18 yrs
because of that one article in the CBA. Don't sacrifice your body so Parker and his band
of useless loser's can boast about thier on time performance.

News Flash ELECTION UPDATE

Word I got is Delaney Beat Canale in HNL there was a 65 percent voter turnout still have no numbers confirmed the rest of the ND08 team won as well

Trying to get more information

HEY PIT, YOU VOTE ON JUNE 12TH. I AM HEARING YOU DON'T HAVE ANY INFO POSTED ABOUT THIS ELECTION? REMEMBER TO VOTE THIS THURSDAY JUNE 12TH AT YOUR LOCAL!!!!!

Thank you! This was the laugh of my day. Back in the wonderful days of MAPPER, when the Leads did W&B PHX was the KING of shitty loads. I've lost count of how many poor load audits I did on inbound Phoenix flights, but it was easily over 50.

In all fairness though, I don't work flights on the ramp anymore, so PHX may have improved. If not, this is like calling the kettle black, and if you have improved I apologise. Don't want to start up blad blood for a fixed problem.

On bag load topics, I just wanna give kudos to CMH. I have NEVER seen a load that was not EXACTLY as the GOM perscribed from them. If you need to learn how to load a plane CMH is the place to go to learn, cause they're the masters.

CHILL....I will give you a good example of some of the problems it creates for zone cities

Pull up.......... DRH*254/10 PHL........in decs
Notice the load is BI77 in AC and BI11 in FC....I think we all know that it's suppose to be BO ?
Move down and notice that there is no bin location to distinguish what desinations are where?
so i would have to wait for the whole A/C to be offloaded if i was looking for specific bags!

NEXT EX:

Pull up..........DRH*307/10 CLT........
Notice All the conx are in the rear........there were 55 BE and 45 BM....up front were 40 BL...
Why not swap the BM with BL and the load/wgt/cg is basically the same........
As it is now, CLT runners have to wait for all conx to be off loaded....where if they were in separate bins like they should be, they can just go when their bin is off loaded.......

NEXT EX:

Pull up..........DRH*161/10 PHL........
Notice and compare. The offload matches the CONX load on the bottom where some CONX are in
the FWD bin but are identified by the FC.

The bottom line is that the training dept has the respnsibility to give you the tools to do the job.
As you can see from the examples .....Flt 161 gives you info you need to do your job in a timely
and yes safe manner. I hope this helps and if I'm wrong on any of this....please respond accordingly. I have no problem being corrected.............I only learn from it...........Kind of like I have learned about the present Canale regime.

District Lodge Officer Election update: HNL

HNL had a massive turnout with approx 600 voters. Canale and Payne showed up and got out their vote with the Hawaiin Airline folks. Canale and Payne did good but Brad "I'm everywhere" Burson, Sandy, Big Dog, and Mr. Dave Atkinson took care of business and brought HNL home safely for the New Direction.

Canale gave a good run by picking up about 35% of the vote and kept things respectable by keeping Delaney's margin of victory under 100. Delaney and the New Direction won by 75 votes out of the 600. So far only DTW has actually voted for Canale.

When some of the HNL folks were asked why they voted for Delaney, their reply was, "Everybody knows Canale is with management and Delaney offers us a strong labor man who actually listens."

remember folks this comes from a district leader and one of randy's boys. He is already announcing Randy's intentions to

REOPEN the concession stand . WE as a membership can't let this happen. H*ll for once just once in our career lets try the hardliner

approach like all other labor unions do. Liquidation are you kidding me . District farce YOUR scare tactics have run out of juice.

TO ALL NEW DIRECTION SUPPORTERS: DON'T EVER FORGET THE PROMISES

1. NO MORE CONCESSIONS
2. SHUT THE PLACE DOWN

Yea all that in bankruptcy without a strike vote
Randy never negotiated a contract at US AIRWAYS. The only contract that the US AIRWAYS workers got was the 1999 one. Since then Canale has been in charge and all he has done is extend the 1999 contract with 5 ta's over his 9 years. In the meantime, the 1999 contract is extended all the way till January 2012 but was gutted of everything. Daffy Duck could have done better.

Here are Randy's achievements:

2002: The company needs all your benefits but I negotiated 1113 letters which are 'iron clad' and will keep the company from coming back. A Big fat lie.

2003: The company needs more so we agreed to give more but I negotiated "Jets for Jobs" to bring in jobs everywhere. I even negotiated 'automatic recognition' of MDA where hundreds of our PIT brothers and sisters can find a place of employment. That was a big fat lie.

2005: "The Concession Stand is Closed". and when describing how a labor guy can 'take it so far up' the statement "I had a gun to my head and a knife to my belly" was made. A Big Fat Lie

2007: "Your choice is between voting for this contract or waiting till 2009." Again, a big fat lie as the company came back.

2008: Same lie as 2007 but the rank and file went ahead and voted it in since they were hopeless with Canale, and decided to excercise Canale back up to management where he belongs one month later.

The track record at United is even more hideous. That's why ORD, LAX, SFO, DEN, HNL, JFK all 'bit** Slapped" Canale

District Officer Election Update: HNL

Delaney 293
Canale 222

Good news is that the New Directions team has lambasted Canale in 13 stations and only lost in DTW.

Bad news is that Canale made a ruling that the Aloha HNL local members will be able to vote in this election. This is disturbing since that Airline doesn't even exist anymore and also those workers are not active employees. Where are they working? What airline?

Unfortunately, Canale can interpret the bylaws how he sees fit. These 2000 eligible voters will most likely vote for Canale since word is that they don't know what is going on but Randy is blowing smoke up their butts telling them he's trying to get their jobs back and that a possible investor is 'in the works' to resurrect Aloha.

CLT needs to produce because Randy's latest action is a good indicator that he will do anything to steal this election. Again, Aloha is not even an airline anymore but Canale determined that these are all voters.

One thing we have noticed is that Team 2008 is actually getting out a much better vote this week. Our initial reports up in BOS indicate that BOS is doing a decent turnout and is most likely in favor of Canale. Nonetheless, The New Direction team is blasting away full steam ahead. CLT can be the station that 'drives the stake in the heart' if it produces the 774 valid votes that Oman sez it is capable of producing [has produced that amount in 2 other votes this year]. And we are hoping that PIT has a decent turnout for the New Direction, along with ATL, and MSP on Thursday.

And the end result of Canale's efforts is employment. My understanding is that the new direction folks are fed up with wages/benefits/work rules and their motto is THE CONCESSION STAND IS CLOSED. This is why you are b***h slapping Canale to the curb. This is what a union memberships voting rights are about. My only point is that I think you guys/gals need to stand behind your vote and convictions. Remember, NO MORE CONCESSIONS. CLOSE THE PLACE DOWN.

Don't let the BK judge be your excuse. Whatever the judge imposes you still have your integrity for NO MORE CONCESSIONS. CLOSE THE PLACE DOWN. Simply walk away.

Here are a few of the many reasons why we kicked them to the curb

Bad Representation
Crummy Communication
Lousy Leadership
Awful Acountabilty
and unseen Visibility of the incumbents

This list could go on and on
