There is a time for parody and a time to be serious. No photoshop this time, I will be direct. If statements by you in the past and statements from others ring true, Ron was suspended because he was not smart and did not think things through. It was told to me, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, that Ron placed documents on boards that called for a "work safe" action from the group. He was not informed to the degree that he went blindly into what has been established in the courts as a job action. He placed others who would follow him blindly in jeopardy because he didn't know better. We want someone who does know better.
Ron, as well meaning as he may be cannot act blindly to effect our group in a positive way.
It was good that he was suspended during negotiations and he had the support of the east coast and west coast to encourage the company to bring him back. I wish him well.

I’d like to URGE all of you to remember to VOTE FOR RON ROTH …. Ask yourselves , why is it there are incumbents who are already working with RC on the new direction team , but not RR the best union guy we have ?
Why is it these people pushing for the new direction team fight so hard against the man who is undoubtedly the most solid candidate out of ALL of the nominees or incumbents ?
Have any of the current UNION officials or people vying for union positions been suspended because they’ve fought TOO hard for the worker ? I highly DOUBT it … Ron has been suspended NUMEROUS times in defense of the worker and each time he keeps coming back , like an unrelenting force .
Ron Roth is like a union leader of old …too many people nowadays think of unions like a business ,some sort of corporate game where if you have better lawyers than the other side everything will turn out fine , but I think RR understands where the true strength of unions comes from and is not only able , but willing to wield that strength to secure the future of our union
I will have to disagree with you on RR being the best. He is a good politician. He shakes hands and kisses babies. That is not strong. I would like to know where some of my grievances are that I have filed in the last 2 years. I would have won most if not all of them, but I have never heard what happened to them.
Ron's resume consists of being a manager negotiating against the union at Us West, manager at AWA for a few years and Union rep for the last couple of years.
After leaving office I asked Ron numerous times if I could be a steward so I could help the membership and he turned me down until about a month ago. That doesn't sit well with me. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Ron hater, I just don't think he is as strong as you make him out to be. You see Freedom, I put people that I knew didn't care for me into positions with the Union including negotiating committee because even though they might not have been supporters of mine, I thought they could bring something of value to the membership with their ideas.

Ahhhhhh… the old "Job Action" reprimand trick…
For those who are uneducated in this.. Please be aware, and beware… of the ramifications of inadvertently participating in, or leading… what may be deemed a “Job Action†against the Company.
Again…all this goes back to the Railway Labor Act… All labor disputes must be settled within the guidelines set forth in the R.L.A, and any “Job Actionsâ€, must be fully sanctioned by the IAM.
However… the Company has initiated, and vowed participation in an Occupational Safety Campaign that must be adhered to by all Members without question.

Ron Roth has not been a Manager. He has always been a Conx driver in Phoenix. BUT! He supposibly has bean a negotiator for contracts in his last career.

Ron is a personable fella. He walked with us(along with Bill Chandlee) at Tempe over a year ago in support of AWA. He walks his own LINE!
