Appreciate it, thanksI don't know how the vote will be handled but if the votes are
indeed counted I will give an update. Otherwise I will give my
opinion of how things went as far as the talk and turnout.

Thanks
Your company is not a stand alone carrier and needed United airlines. Now there are reports about liquidation later this year. I think fleet service needs Randy Canale more now than ever. Things will get difficult for US AIRWAYS and they will have to demonstrate that they can achieve concessions before an investor will invest. Delaney is more of a hard liner and it may be difficult for him to open up your contract for additional concessions. Such a position may risk liquidation. Is the complete liquidation of this industry in the best interest of our Membership?
Can we preserve our careers as a stand alone carrier? This Membership deserves, and demands transparency to this regard!
District Force… 700… Any input?
P.S. Maybe the New Direction people will be able, and willing to communicate this posture to the Membership without ambiguity!

Sources have said Union Opposition and integration costs torpedoed the deal. Others say UAL shied away from a merger because US Airways lacks a strong international presence.

Good Grief! first you were in here pitching us on a merger and why we needed it,meanwhile Canale is sending out cards to sign against a merger(not that I would ever send that fool my contact info) this is typical of this current leadership, they speak out of both sides of their mouth ,meanwhile their hand is reaching for your wallet. They are disgusting!Your company is not a stand alone carrier and needed United airlines. esp with the thieving buffoons leading this train wreck getting 100 to 200% bonuses for their halfazz job performanceNO MORE CONCESSIONS OF ANY KIND PERIOD. Turn the lights out first & put it to bed.
Woh, dont lump me in the mix, I never said either way for your group to vote on this CBA.I have to agree 110% with cltrat on this one!
DF & 700 were so hellbent on getting this contract voted in b/c of the NEED of US to merge with UA.....and then the IAM comes out totally against the merger?????????
It just doesn't make any kind of sense. I was for the T/A b/c I didn't think they would come back to the table with anything better....and quite frankly I think I was right. But their argument all along was we needed this merger....then Randy comes out agaisnt it??
I need some answers on this please....

This is typical of Canale and the way he operates. When he wanted something out of PHX he made it easy for you to vote. Now that he has gotten what he wanted he is no where to be found. We have seen this kind of tactic time and time again. Its time for a change.
