If you are saying we would be in the same situation almost nine years later had we remained ALPA, I would say no.
The fact is you don't know that. Under the TA we very could be in the exact same spot.

Now, if you are feeling really guilty let me suggest that you give Pre your A330 captain seat in exchange for her A320 F/O reserve seat and donate your back pay to the Salvation Army, or St Judes.

Let me know when your retirement party is, I'd like to be there.

We could. But we could just as we'll be on our second or third post merger contract with all pilots having enjoyed raises and quality of life improvements.

You would be a welcome guest at my retirement party.

Watch for DOH with C&R's
Luv,

I've gotta tell you.  You look pretty silly trying to ride that dead horse.  How much money have you pumped into that dead corpse, hoping it would spring to life, so you could ride it off into the sunset?  Just bury the darned thing, it's starting to stink.

But it is what the APA pilots (doh) seem to want. Wouldn't surprise me if it happens. Maybe a good thing, maybe a bad thing.

Just curious what makes you think they want DOH?

I have AA friends too and I've never heard that expressed...

Have heard it numerous times from their pilots. None are friends. Of course they include the idea of widebody fences as well. At this point, the junior west pilots might actually be better off with DOH than relative position. Not for me to decide.

west pilots, it is over on Monday.  The lady will sing.

Yes, 924 has his, but unlike his West counterpart, he does not have a group of scabs trying to steal it from him.

alpa MEC Resolutions
Special MEC Meeting, 2/15/08
Washington, DC
Moved by Jones/Rogers
WHEREAS the US Airways and America West MECs’ Three Man Steering Committees
were unable to reach agreement on seniority integration issues, and
WHEREAS the US Airways MEC/JNC and the America West MEC/JNC must reach
agreement on a comprehensive contract proposal, including seniority integration issues,
prior to resuming JNC negotiations with US Airways management,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the status quo consisting of separate operations,
under the terms of the Transition Agreement, be maintained until such time as the
America West and US Airways MECs engage in the process as mandated by the
Executive Council to devise a mutually acceptable solution to outstanding seniority
integration and contract issues.
Passes Unanimously

Subject: AAA Steering Group Appreciation
Moved by Ciabattoni/Brookman
BE IT RESOLVED that the AAA MEC acknowledges and appreciates the hard work of
the AAA MEC Steering Group on behalf of the AAA pilots, and that the principles
established by the AAA MEC were never compromised.
Passes by Acclamation
USAPA inherited the standoff.  west nic or nothing is the cause of their self-inflicted wounds.
