I give you street cred Luv, at least you have some sense of history. Have not heard that name in a while.  I don't care how you take my big letter post (and you will see it again) the matter of note is that, after seniority, this group has screamed for professional negotiators for almost 30 years.  And when we finally got one (actually a very good one) our idiots on the BPR refused to listen. By the way, I saw that toad Tosi at the NMB a few years ago. Back channels made darn sure he would never have access to our case or cards. Obviously he never did. RR
Tosi loved to take the management side, half knowledge got him in over his head quickly. Fortunately Herndon saved him and McGuckin a job. They both got hooked like tame bass by mgt.

Leonidas Update December 17, 2013
on

.

As we continue to wait for the results of the Addington II trial, the West Pilot legal team continues to stay busy working to protect your rights. The final pleadings to the case record were submitted on November 6th, and there were numerous post-trial Motions that required briefs to be filed, including those pleadings regarding USAPA and Airways’ Motions for Summary Judgment. All of these relevant filings can be found on the public access Leonidas Web site at cactuspilot.comWe are charging toward a final solution to the conflict that has plagued us for so many years, but there is still much work to be done. The merger of American and US Airways was consummated last Monday, December 9th finalizing the Plan of Reorganization or POR. The MOU specifies a thirty day “Protocol Period” to begin on the POR date so the thirty day clock is ticking right now. New American has called for a meeting of the pilot parties to the McCaskill-Bond process outlined in the MOU for this Friday, December 20th in Washington, D.C. to discuss the Protocol Agreement. The company has invited the West Pilot Class to be participants in this meeting. Your nine West Class Representatives have chosen five West pilots to be your West Merger Committee representatives: former PHX Domicile Chairman First Officer David Braid; current Leonidas member and Business Intelligence Committee member, First Officer Johan DeVicq; former ALPA negotiating committee member Captain Doug Dotter; founder of Leonidas First Officer Eric Ferguson; and former ALPA merger committee member Captain Russ Payne. Along with this committee will be the legal team consisting of Polsinelli Attorneys Jennifer Axel and Dr. Andy Jacob along with Marty Harper of Marty Harper, PLLC. It is our understanding from the West Merger Committee that New American and APA will be in attendance at the December 20, 2013 meeting. USAPA has not committed to attend to the best of our knowledge. The West Merger Committee members all have an outstanding history of West Pilot advocacy and experience, and we are proud to announce their willingness to serve the pilot group in such an important role. We will provide updates as events unfold during the coming weeks and months, and we thank you for your desire to stay informed. Sincerely, Leonidas, LLC

Any updates from the west pilots merger committee?   I thought so.
Parker invites West pilots to the meeting. They feel honored. Parker plays Marty like a cheap violin. What is really funny is the West kids actually believe Parker has a soft spot for them. Wait till the knife gets twisted when he no longer needs them. Meanwhile, Marty plays dumb to suck down more fees.

Seal the deal. Until the last AA new hire retires.

(Sarcastic transcripts of company sponsered meeting of apa and the west pilots).

"Hello fellow APA pilots, my name is eric fergusen, 2003 date of hire leader of the west pilots.  Here are our demands from youse guys or we will not allow you to touch our PHX base and the old airbuses that we brought to the merger.  .................,,,,,,,,,,,,,??????????????"

No arguments about Tosi, or McGuckin, but I am not and never have here argued the "mangement side."  They are liars and thieves.  But one of the founding principles of USAPA was a  pro negotiator.  We really did not get one under Bradford or Cleary (the "DiOrio years) but finally got it with Hummel.  All and all I think we stil came out ok, best we could considering the disfunction.  9 days left for me here, can Prechilli start a countdown?  My full ride starts at APA HQ in DFW after the Holidays.  RR

The AA guys are pretty savvy. I say they figure Parker out by tomorrow.
Let's hope the love fest ends soon. They work for America west now.
Would all of you East guys forward the ALPA scab list to your AA friends, wives, brothers so they can see how many scabs they are up against please!

The APA could care less and do not favor either side in our spat.  But you can be sure they would NOT want the NIC imposed on East/West and THEN an APA merger.  RR

They better think of the situation where an arbitrator gets three lists and starts at the top and spreads the wealth in thirds instead of them versus one USAPA list.
Maybe TWA gets another shot as well if they want to go there.

From the little I hear, hope springs eternal. So far the APA "gets it." And I by no means suggest favoritism towards either East or West. As we seem to agree (heavens!) you have to look at this from their point of view. RR
