Meanwhile, back from the commercial break:
"Well, Alex, I think the Jeopardy music has stopped and the two Pro-Ann contestants (Astro and Flyby) don't have an answer to the final Jeopardy question. Yes, it is curious how they had so much to say during the game but in the end they were stumped by such an easy question. I guess we have a new champion."

This appears to be one scenario. It is strange that those who defend the current LECP so vehemently become so silent when asked a simple question. Maybe they are still way down in the archives looking for something to pull out of the hat. Maybe they just don't have anything more to say. Maybe there is nothing they can say (unless it's derogatory).

ok time is up. Desperation answer says Ann is the queen of yard sales, garage sales and pep rallies. Oh and one more thing, She plays a great opening act for Flores. When she holds local council meetings , she opens the meeting by introducing the mec president who she knows loves the microphone and the floor. Then Ann's job is done. Mike comes to the rescue and babbles the rest of the meeting leaving her off the hook. most of the time Ann leaves the room for the majority of the meetings. And the other clt officers sit there like there was a gag order placed on them. Lets not be fooled any longer. Flores is running clt base. My friends in philly tell me their meetings are the same way. Ralph Cramden opens the meeting and turns it over to norton to take the meeting the rest of the way. Cross our fingers that our people see the light and change horses here. That will be the first step to get rid of Mike Mubarak (the mec president). These people just wont step down when their people have had enough.

One question, if the soup lady wins , who will run the yard sales for the council?

I know one thing Anne has done. She, along with other LEC's on the property, have, through their votes, kept the current MEC/ JNC intact. Five years later, and we are offered a pay raise from the Company that we already have negotiated in the BK #2 East contract.

If that is not enough to induce a regime change on the LEC level, I don't know what is.

And before someone starts spouting off about "who would you replace them with!?!?", ask yourself this: could the proposed TA, with holes in PBS, a worse RSV system than we have now, a raise we already have coming to us, etc, be any worse than what they've brought us?

As an aside, I am hearing that there are people in PHL who plan on running for LECP that believe that the newly negotiated RSV system is "fine", and that they "don't see a problem with it". Pay close attention, folks, and ask A LOT of questions during the election period.

Amazing you chastise her for posting on FB but you need to post on aviation. Hum and exactly what baggage does she exactly have? She is very stable and very professional....oh that is right Ann's camp is realizing that Ann is going to lose so they feel the need to attack the soup lady's character in one last attempt to discredit her. Hate to tell you but your plan is backfiring. Again go back and discuss the trainwreck that is our current President. Oh and her going to work looking like she just got out of bed is so professional. The point about what has Ann done for us monumental while in office is a very good question. Why has that question not been answered? So then I guess we should not take a chance and stay with the status quo? Shame on us if we continue to go down a path of self destruction. It is obvious AC has not made much of a mark in CLT as her camp has not come forward with her accomplishments. So do we re elect a puppet who will not stand up for her flight attendants? Shall we re elect a president who is ok with a negotiating team draining our union dues for more than 5 years and still have nothing close to an acceptable proposal? Shame on her for her lack of courage to vote for the changes that her flight attendants so desperately want. So if you want the same concessionary contract and work conditions keep voting the same people in. Then we can say shame on us.

The current leadership has become way to company. When was the last time that AC or GT actually came out on line and flew a 3 or 4 day domestic trip. They state that we should not change leaders because we are in contract negotations. If we were to support that reasoning we would never changes leaders. Please we have been in negotations now for 5 years are we willing to keep the leadership in office for another 5 years or are we going to go for change and give someone else a chance to make a difference.
Where has anything improved for the better since she has been president. She voted to share our profit sharing with the west. She voted for our dues to be increased. She voted to put the same people back in as our JNC.
She gets 108 hours pay and will actually fly ETB transoceanic trips. Does anyone believe that she will actually be able to come back on line and fly that kind of time? She spends more time running her parents around than representing the membership. The rest of us have to be on a fmla or pcl to help our ailing parents why should she be afforded any different.
They state that they are in the office all of the time yet they will run the office from their homes and no I am not referring to when there is weather that they can not get to the office. Our dues go toward the cost of the office yet probably over 60% of the time no one is in. How many of us have gone by the office at 11:00 am and no one will be there?
The question at hand is are we willing to keep the same status quo or change leaders? Guess we will know on February 4th.

Then you must be one of those already secure in a new MEC or LEC position. Also, why are you screaming (CAPITALS)? Unless of course you are getting into a little "pissing match" because not everyone here is so easily duped into seeing things your way. After so many years of the same-ole, same-old from the do-nothings, people are hard pressed to believe that they are the way to go. Many are running in the opposite direction...hear them screaming NOOOOOOO, NEVER AGAIN!

Are you referring to the immature and unprofessional stance that all of the current officers will resign? If so, I say good riddance! Maybe we'll all get another shot to wipe the slate clean.

I think that is one thing about facebook people don't understand. No matter what "security settings" you use, things tend to end up as public knowledge. That is why some people choose not to be a part of the community. I Think it can be a great tool to find lost friends or the like. It can also be a backdrop for unintended consequence. An abundance of caution should be exercised in such a medium as what you say or do there will become public knowledge at some point whether you intend it to or not. Up until just a couple of months ago, you could type someones name in a google search and if they were on facebook you could see their homepage and the first few "friends" they had. If you were to refresh the page you could cycle through more of their friends. They have since changed that as I understand but that is the way it was. I was just discussing that with someone else just recently.

As far as the shenanigans that took place in the Charlotte election, I think at the very least it will be a fair election with the DOL oversight. The only issues now will be whether or not everyone that was eligible to recast their ballot did. The risk you guys run is the fact that low percentages vote during elections as it is. With a rerun election you will get some new voters but some that voted the first time will likely not. Hope to be proven wrong on this though. The quicker this major issue out of the way, the sooner you can focus on all the other shenaigans you are dealing with.

She definitely has more gumption to her than the current president has. She won the rerun with the DOL and that speaks volumes to her desire to represent the members. Unlike the current who has become all company and has not accomplished anything for the members. All you obviously know how to do is run your big mouth. For someone who states that they do not involve themselves in union affairs your actions are showing otherwise. So shut your pie hole BIG MOUTH!

Who cares who flybynight is! I want an answer to my question. Come on Flybynight lets pony up... what has Ann done in her years of AFA service to make a mark. Anything to better our lives to do anything other than suck up a position and play office manager? Being a union rep doesn't mean you were elected to play an office manager or accountant. You answer a phone or return a call? Great that's your standard JOB. Ann gossips, makes up flat out lies on folks she doesn't like and acts like a 3rd grade school girl. She was miss cute back in 1989 but really she is a little game playing joke. She promises votes on the MEC only to take a 1 hour bathroom break during the vote. She elects a person too AFA National that she was told not to vote for by the majority of her members. She screams at people in the crew room like a wild woman with no professionalism. The list can go on and on.

Bottom line folks Ann is scared. She played her AFA cards too close to Flores even though she HATES the man. A vote for Ann is a vote for Mike and Carol and the same #### the company has offered you so far. If you are that stupid you deserve it. And that, is the bottom line.

Well no, that's not it. Some people have to work for a living....and I've been busy flying....doing just that. While you've been busy pissing and moaning about not getting a response..I'm out there doing my job. 🙄

By the way, the ONLY way to know that she has a file as long as your arm is if you are management in which case you have violated a few laws by revealing anything, or you are a Union rep in which case you have violated your confidentiality oath. As a Representative you are not allowed to disclose anything outside of the Union office. There might even be a few penalties involved. Unless of course our upstanding and professional representatives have "GOSSIPED" (tell me it ain't so, Joe!) or spoken out of school (I shudder to think!).

Funny thing that. I go on a fishing expedition and end up bagging a fox. And even more amusing is you don't realize you've just been field dressed!!!
