During the first week, the membership delivered "Great Pain" to Parker's boy and his loyalist.
As I said to Randy several months ago, I think the decent thing for him to have done was to resign and 'take one for the team' but his arrogance surprised even me. Not to be crude, but it appears to me that he is delusional, perhaps as a result of too many 'Corporate wine and chees' gatherings.

We told him to 'look up at the scoreboard' and told him that we were coming for him to kick him back up to management where he belongs, but he didn't listen and grew more arrogant. Now he won't be getting his 'IAM Watch' and I am going to enjoy taking the picture when he hands over the 'green jacket' to a real labor man named Delaney. Something wonderful is going to happen in October.....something wonderful!

When we put this ticket together, one thing I couldn't figure out, and still can't figure out is if the United masses or the US AIRWAYS masses got screwed over more with Canale. We will never know, but one thing we will know is that the Canale concession stand will be 'lambasted' by the membership......soon enough. But remember, we must still get out the vote because we all know the evilness of Parker's boy. We must continue pumping out 80%+ of the vote to be 'protest proof'. Clearly, Randy will throw out as much of the vote as possible to keep his job on the United Board of Directors. Sorry Randy, no more limo rides for you. And CLT is going to give you the reward it has been saving for you for your last 10 deadbeat years. Here's hoping CLT brings out the hammer of 775 strong to 'drive' the stake in the beast and send the other deadbeats 'back to the ramp' where they belong.

I think your wav rightly describes the situation. We still have 3 weeks left and we must continue to inflict 'great pain' on Canale and most importantly send a clear message to United and US AIRWAYS management that the masses are DONE with 'piss clam' unionism. The bigger the vote, the clearer the message to the airlines. Also, the bigger the vote, the more 'juice' the Local grievance committee will have when dealing with 'local matters'. Your local management is well aware of how solid or how apathetic the members are at each particular station.

At any rate, I am enjoying this senseless brutality where justice is giving Canale his reward for his treason and contempt of the working people and families.

Dunno, but I heard DTW came through for Payne so I'll give Vic points for that. Dunno numbers at either CLE or DTW, if you have them post them and I'll include them.

As far as Randy goes, next week promises to be more 'shock and awe' as the masses continue to give Randy his reward for his treason and contempt against the workers at both United and US AIRWAYS over the past 10 years. I'm going to enjoy hearing the results of HNL, PIT, CLT, MSP, ATL. Something wonderful is happening.....something wonderful.

I just have numbers from you guys. I heard CLE ND08 DTW canale but was curious of vote count. I'm disappointed in the low turnout of voters.

I'd say currently it looks like christmas in june and one big hell of a new years party in oct.

To all my blogging buddies, the fat lady has her dress and music ready, waiting on CLT to see which side for performance.
 
I wonder if airhorns are allowed at the District convention? I would love to balst it when Delaney and the ND08 crew are sworn in. OTOH maybe someone should play TAPS for team08, on second thought, TAPS is for heros, not management kissa*%es. Maybe doug and crew will create some positions for the members of management on team08.
 
Who is up this week besides CLT and on which days do they vote?

Just a few comments on PHX. The low turnout shows you how we think. A) We got paid, so nobody cares, hence the low turn-out B) The one's that DID care voted against Canale... Kind of reinforces what I said about PHX being sick of the IAM leadership for being so apathetic to our cause.
