Amen...Brother...

I was there... that's my take as well...

You will also notice... that our AGC ...Mr. JR never would admit that he himself would vote YES on this POS !

Roa...sez vote NO on this Mo-FO !

Roa your correct in your statement that he wouldn't say for sure if he would vote yes .

but then contradicted himself by saying "I do recommend this T/A"

so lets see . 1. I don't know if I Would vote yes. 2. BUT I recommend you vote YES..

WTF

typical AGC double talk learned from the master himself . RC .

with the low turnout it appears that CLT is over JR as much as CLT and PHL are over PF.

better get the lollipops and start kissing the babys it's going to be a long HOT day in june. begging for that 120,000.00 job.

Whoaaaaaa....wait a minute now.....Fencesitters in CLT??? Roa going up & down con B in CLT asking around now?

Tim said weeks ago CLT is a FIRM NO. Now there are fencesitters and interviews being done?

Makes one go ...hmmmmmmmmm

Hmmmm...thought yahh were in Florida?? Tell us more!

You know as well as I it starts 90 days before the amendable date and there have been contracts that have been negotiated to start on the amendable date.

Not all contracts get prolonged for years. Not to say this one won't but you never know?

How long you been with US?

The only contracts that get approved right away were those bk contracts.....

Freedom, please refresh us on exactly how PHX has fought? Like as in ever? Sorry Freedom but I don't count 'rants' on youtube where you stomp your feet and say you want any ole flimsy contract as anything more than talk if it's not backed up with the decency to fight for justice.

Please tell me how you agreed with the company in 2002 to pay such pathetic wages without a judge abrogation? You yourself agreed that you weren't worth more so don't blame PHL. And before you bust on PHL, whose pocket do you think your profit sharing check came out of?

I'm all for helping out you guys by sharing our profit sharing with you but many of us grow weary of PHX complaining about their predicament when they chose to agree with Parker to the very wages they are now complaining about. Was the fight in 2002 where you guys agreed to $15 the type of fight you are talking about and the fight that we are seeing from PHX right now?

My point in this thread is that it's very easy to blast away at another station. I suppose we can all do it. But instead of talking about PHL or PHX why don't we just stick to the issues and stand up against this company. Voting yes isn't standing up to Parker or United for that matter.

Here's real leadership and integrity

No , I’m under specific pressure to call EACH AND EVERY station out for it’s LACK OF ACTION … those are what you might call my standing orders ..

PHL made the news once at Xmass long ago , I expected better from them , or at least SOMETHING …

I will not pander to the pride of PHL if they didn’t do anything , no protests , no you tube video’s no work actions , nothing except posts on usavation.com

Where have you been at the protests TIM , you seem all pro UNION and PRO worker and ANTI company , how many protests did you organize at your station ?

You know what , I RESPECT the men and women who came out in front of CHQ on their own free time , of their own free will, to protest not just for the west BUT FOR ALL OF FLEET SERVICE ….

Posting on us avation , no matter how eloquent or logical your opinion doesn’t earn any points here in PHX .

Have any of you ever heard that saying ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS??

Ok, so you've gone from calling out stations to individuals. I haven't done as much as I would like to do but I have been 'deeply' involved in putting together a ballot and campaigning for it so 25,000 members can have a democratic choice in this union...to make it more accountable and better for you, the member. This took a great amount of time to put together as we had to branch out to United's 15,000 members, all on our own dime.
I hear the masses say it's time for Canale to go...well, I was part of the groundwork that made that possible for you.

I also helped draft and file a election interference charge against this District back in 2002 and the Department of labor and department of justice agreed with us over Canale and Buffenbarger. None of this actually takes balls, just a dogged determination for a democratic union where the power can get back to the masses.

I've also done some things I've regretted but you get older, you learn.

At any rate, nuff about me.

I can tell these boards are getting us all a little testy....b/c it is a very real & emotional issue for us.

However, the outcome we will all still be working for the same company and trying to get better in the future. My next store neighbor's wife was just diagnosed with breast cancer this week so I'm trying to keep everything in perspective here....yes it's an important T/A for me but certainly not life or death.

That's it...I'll stop preaching now....

Where do you get 09 from.....hello ppl....again traditional negotiations won't even begin til the very end of 09 and go into 2010 to be rejected by PHL & CLT again and dragged out til.....God only knows!

Hope you like your bk wages by voting no.
hope you enjoying being in the bin with the UA worker with less time making more money with better double time and 2 more weeks vacation than you, but hey you can smile and say I voted for it

bob,
"'freedom'' your posts have helped the NO vote more than you know. Any talk of your posts in our
workplace have only had a possible ''yes'' voter upset at you and your thinking and saying they want
nothing to do with that type of mentality. Thank You. Before this week there were maybe a couple
dozen yes's out of Phl and you have lessened that by at least a half a dozen. Please continue so I
can continue to show your posts, thier great.

bob"

the same thing in CLT . Freedom as become a Huge asset to the NO voters. so I too hope freedom continues on his EXPERT views

and his insider information (corporate friends) .
