My bad roa...was dirt doing "the survey says......!"

I wasn't doing any kind of survey. I have been here for quite a long time and know a whole lot of people on a personal level. What I was doing is something I do very well. I love to talk and anybody that knows me can attest to that fact. I also listen to what people have to say. That is what I was doing today so if you want to call that a survey you go right ahead and call it that. I call it being in touch with my friends and co-workers.

Today I had an incredible psychic experience. I was working a flt
from CLT when all of the sudden I was overwhelmed by this
message that came to me....

All time seemed to stop but I do recall that I was opening the front
bin when it happened. Does anyone have a rational explanation?

I’ll bet it wuz tha copy of the tha “Big Pictureâ€￾… somebody put in tha bin !

I have been wondering for months why the company would still insist on keeping the 60 day rule language in there.It seeed like such a small detail, now I realize with the current language it could be used as a scare tactic to get yes votes.


I guess if this T/A passes it would give the 19 small west city employees a little time to decide before they transfer to another city after they are contracted out. It's going to be just like 2005 all over again, thanks for nothing IAM!!

chill dirt...I was jus' messin' with ya....

my point wasn't about surveys it was about ppl LONG LONG ago predicting the clt was a HANDS DOWN NO vote and then I picked up on some lingo that led me to believe clt may not be as FIRM as everyone predicted....that's all.

But I'm sure you know better than me....since I'm stuck down here in the land of sunshine... 😀

Sidelined , I can tell from your screen name that you’ve been furloughed …. So I can understand why you would either

1. Twist the facts

Or

2 . Ignore the facts .



The TA , gets rid of the 60 day rule for those of us who are CURRENTLY employed ..

It does nothing for you sadly …. Face it , if you’ve been following this message board for any length of time then you must know that those who are now employed never gave you much of a thought …. And I highly doubt they will going forward . In fact the only time people in your position have even BECOME an issue is when our workers have to face the possibility that they could become you .

Same thing happened to me once on a flight from PHL... I got a big whiff of jet exhaust and then splashed in the eyes with some leaking Skydrol. When I looked the bin I saw Anna Kournikova in a ramp uninform claiming to have fallen asleep after loading the plane. Then I remembered that this flight was from PHL and after throwing some Gatorade in my eyes and hacking-up a lung, I realize I was talking to a food wrapper and the remnants of Philly Cheesesteak left by a fleet service worker.

Hey, it could happen to anyone so I understand... point being, your "incredible psychic experience" was not devine intervention, but exposure to some intoxicating chemicals.

In fact Freedom if I was was one of those employees in the small west cities and wanted to stay with Us Airways after being contracted out, I would probably think about voting yes. Just because the 60 day language is in there. Thank you US Airways for being so generous.

708AW.. I'm sorry I flipped out. Your question is legitimate.
Your scenario is possible if all the right things occur. But
it's really just like any other TA. Things would have to be
bargained for. What would come out would be anybody's
guess. But one possibility would be the west not coming
up to the east pay for a time period of, say, six months. Any
changes which occur to our TWU contract would have to
be voted on by all of us under the TWU contract. If they
made even the slightest change to the IAM contract then
they vote also.
